Fishing the Destin East Jetty - A Challenge in its own Right
We were meeting Ty and Theresa Sutherland(30 miles out crew) to go fishing at Destin's east Jetty. The day seemed like a repeated series of unfortunate events. We were gonna meet early at the Jetty but family responsibilities for Ty made it more realistic that we would meet around 10am. Then after a couple wrong turns for Ty and Theresa it turned into about Noon when we finally met up. It was around 95 degrees that day so it was already bordering on miserable when we started fishing. Michelle (my wife) and Theresa had a great time just hanging out in the sand and surf while Ty and I sweated our butts off trying to land some fish for the cameras. Die to the extreme heat our fishing did not last too long, but I always enjoy hanging out with Ty and picking his brain about fishing.
