Dropping Jigs and Live Bait - Kayak Fishing Navarre Beach Reefs

Good afternoon we are here at Navarre Beach. You can see the water tower back there and you can see that we have absolutely no surf but we got enough wind where there's a chop on the water so you you really can't ask for better conditions because when it's glassy you don't get hardly any bites trolling so this ought to give us a shot trolling. I think we're going to do good today. Oh look at the manta rays right there yeah there's bait right there oh damn a ton of bait there we go oh croakers oh yes oh there's benita right here all right oh that's a hit there we go is this a king this close to shore oh no it's just a nice big bobo all right all right well at least I got I can drop benita on the reef drop some benita hunks there we go all right caught a benita on my handmade jig poured it painted it and tied it all right well that was fun oh there we go oh that was monstrous hook pulled there we go got him ah it's just a red snapper dang it not even a big one not what I'm wanting but at least I did hook they're pretty I want to hook that big son of a gun that I got I'm in to go oh that's a bigger one that's a good one it's a nice one he's barely hooked too oh there he goes probably swallowed the hook yep god dang it oh yeah that's a good one whatever this is it's good it's not acting like a red snapper yep it is it's just a big one all right it's a nice one it's not what I want though stop it there we go man well got a little fight in them god dang it well these are all keeper size here at least another nice one but not what I'm wanting ready there we go that was fun all right red snapper on the jig nice all right that's fun jigging all right let's try this all right worked all right red snapper on the jig all right let's try that again it's a good one on the jig might be a grouper oh it's fighting nope oh foul hook snapper all right yep that'll do it man how did that happen a little bitty thing oh wow nice porgy snagged it sorry bud yeah I'll keep you it's almost small enough to drop down for bait ah I'll let him go oh man that's a good one it's a good one I think it's just a red snapper but it feels like a heavy one yeah be a nice keeper size about a 20 incher that's a nice one all right let's try and jig one more time one more drop and then we'll start trolling in
