Visiting The Dolomites Pt 1- Driving the Great Dolomites Road- Italy in a motorhome tour

It's officially the start of the Great Dolomites Road and we're going into a tunnel. Go and see the Dolomites, go into a tunnel. Yeah I'm not going to film inside a tunnel, so bye. So how long was that about 16k? But we are quite high now, it was all uphill wasn't it? It's a great road, it's really well tarmac actually, unlike many Italian popular roads. In front of me is the light right in the front of us so the camera's not getting a whole lot of what we're going on. I'm sorry for the dirty windscreen but I am so cold. Oh it's cold. The Giro d'Italia, oh my goodness, I've never watched the Giro d'Italia. It's funny, it's like the Tour de France but in Italy but it's not as prestigious. Yeah and yet it's the same people who do, or most of the same people, so it would be as interesting but it just doesn't have the prestige of the Tour de France. But if they're in this sort of environment it must be amazing to watch. I don't even think it's on telly like normal tv. No. I've got to turn it off a bit, it's so cold but it's so pretty. I don't care if I get hypothermia. Ski bikes, are that like skidoos? Yeah. Ski bikes. They've got an underground snow avalanche shelter I think it was like a garage but it went into the hill so I reckon if there was ever an avalanche they could go in there. There you go, that's one of the cable cars. Can you see it up there? Oh yeah. Yeah. Oh wow. Is that one we're going to? I think so, I think that's the valley. Let's see where we are. The Alpe d'Asuisi or whatever you want to call it. Yes, so we're going basically going around the valley, the valley's up and then I think that might be Senca on the other side. Sorry my arm's freezing. Sweat temperature on. Is it? Oh god that's cold. Are you ready? Am I ready? Yes. So this is the Pordo Pass and then we're going on to the Sella Pass. Ready or not, here we come.
