Brittisk borgmästare: Fler sådana här föreställningar i hela landet! | NTD NYHETER

The New York-based company Shen Yun Performing Arts performed at the Royal & Durngate Theatre in Northampton on February 17th. Among the attendees were the mayor and the mayor's wife, who were deeply moved by the performance. Shen Yun's mission is to re-experience 5,000 years of authentic traditional culture by portraying stories from both old legends and modern dramas. They're used to that story. Yeah, but each story is beautiful, yeah. The dance was amazing. I remember watching Monkey on TV when I was probably in the back in the 1970s. But to see it, and obviously about Pigsy as well, you know, I remember that struck home to me. But to see it performed, the visuals have been amazing as well. You know, just sort of going over the stage and suddenly seeing it on the big screen as well, that has blown me away. I mean, a magical effect. Shen Yun also portrays modern tales of courage during the genocide. Under the communist regime, China's spiritual culture and traditions have been systematically suppressed and destroyed. There's things there that struck home about the revolution when it happened, the nature of when it happened and what it's done to the country at the moment. And obviously, it's so powerful thinking what the future is going to be when China is free again. I think it shows you, I mean, we always learn from the past, and 5,000 years of culture, that is a lot. I think, in a way, we are all spiritual, and I said that that connection between spiritual and humanity, we always need that. But I think it's important to have that divine and human connection. The mayor of Northampton also had a message for Shen Yun's artistic leaders. I've got to say, you've got to see it. I'm going to tell my daughters. They're going to love it, yeah. I think it's all sold out, though, this year, so we'll have to come back next year. But I'm going to tell everybody to go and see it, because it's amazing. I say we want to see more of these shows across the country. Come back to Northampton. We want five more nights of this, actually. Two nights, three nights is not enough. So I think the more nights, more shows across the country, across the world, just will show everybody what is going on. And I see that connection to the divine and the human, absolutely. Shen Yun's tour in Great Britain continued to three more cities and visited Stockholm and Linköping in April. The report came from NTD News, Northampton in Great Britain.
