Oh, party time.
Sorry. It's a party.
It's a party in the breeze.
Wow.
How's it going, everybody? I'm Nikki.
This is Camper.
And today we are tuning in from the...
Camper just wants to go explore.
We're in Arkansas, so we're going to take you all around one of our favorite
states.
We woke up in Arkansas.
Good morning, Camper.
Some mornings begin like this.
And others, we wake up to the sweet sound
of trucks, traffic.
Camper barking his tail off at rest stop squirrels and others.
And just a mess.
We're going to show you it all today in a two, possibly three part
Arkansas series.
First things first, we had some errands on the agenda.
But in true Camper and Nikki fashion, we'd a lead
and immediately sought out a hike to explore.
Fearless, fearless warrior.
No.
And lucky we did. While we were hiking and relaxing by these crystal
clear waters, just enjoying each other's company, we were invited
by a nice young couple to park and sleep overnight at their farm.
Which ended up being a blast.
We'll tell you more about that later.
But first, errands.
On the way to the farm, we stopped for the week's groceries.
And let me tell you, groceries and getting that cooler in and
out is always a fun event.
I bet you held your breath with me.
Never forget, put your cart back.
I forgot my trash.
Don't leave your trash either.
Guy, throw it out.
Camper signs come down and we're ready to go off
to meet our new friends.
The farm was a blast.
Camper met a horse and made a brand new best friend named
Eyeball. We went on walks around the land, met
their beautiful family and their many children who had caught
fresh fish. It was just so much fun.
By the way, yes, I called my parents and all my friends, sent my
location and did all the safety measures.
I'm so glad I did, because that was a great night's sleep.
And it was like, fantastic.
And it charges up in the sun.
And I really actually created so much room for
myself. Yeah.
Oh, and then Camper's
got his whole get up and this is his blanket.
What a cute boy.
Hey, everybody.
Oh, party time.
Oomph, oomph, oomph, oomph, oomph.
Oh, sorry, Camper.
Yes, it's a party in the Prius.
It's a party in the Prius.
OK, got to turn that off, yikes.
Red light district.
Good morning.
Hello, Camper.
Where is, who is yours?
That morning, Camper was so excited about his new friends,
the horse and the chickens, that he nearly jumped
out the window, waking us up.
Now you guys think he's so calm.
That's only because if I show him barking or being crazy,
then your dogs will bark and be crazy.
And then that's not fun.
You guys, he's like.
It's like very hard.
And yet he's the best thing that ever happened to me, and I love him so much.
But I just say this for all of you that are thinking about getting a dog.
It's a commitment and it's a lot of work.
So just make sure you really think about it.
But for me, it is 110% worth it.
We were going to say our goodbyes, but then decided,
you know what, let's go on a hike altogether to see the area from above.
It was amazing.
I bet you never imagined Arkansas would look like this.
We said our goodbyes.
And the next stop on our journey headed west, we hit Hot Springs, Arkansas.
That was a good hike, huh?
Immediately zonked out.
Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a super fun area,
but much different than your typical national park with shops and all.
Not exactly what you would expect, but they have the best drinking water.
So if you're going to this area, be prepared to fill up.
But I don't recommend plastic as the water comes out
really hot at about 90 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
Oh, that's hot.
Although it's probably not good with plastic, right?
That was a super fun pit stop.
Camper made a new friend, so did we.
And next thing you know, we headed west because our destination
was Greason Lake, where we sent a few packages in mail.
I'll make another video for you guys all about mail
and how to get packages on the road.
But one of them is shipping them straight to a campground.
So we kept driving and we made it to Lake Greason.
Camper, you got my hair.
You have my hair.
You can play it that game.
As long as your butt is a pillow.
At the lake, we made some new friends
and learned all about crystal mining in the area, even diamond mining.
Enjoyed the sunsets, had some really good meals
and some really good sleeps.
Stay tuned for our next Arkansas video, where I take you on my favorite hike
and get a real taste of southern hospitality.
Something you're not going to want to miss.
Camper, you want to come down?
Don't forget, like, subscribe, share with your friends,
turn on notifications and Camper and I will teach you everything you need to know
and show you everything you need to see and have a blast while we're doing it.
Also, if you would like early access to our videos that are ad free
for the first 24 to 48 hours that they're posted,
you can join our Patreon for as low as one dollar a month.
Pretty convenient.
It's also an effort to help grow our Camper Cares fund.
Have a great day and we'll see you next time.
