They call me lessee, if you need somebody, I will never let you down.
I will find the key, you can trust in me, I'm a friend to everyone.
And I go, go under the rainbow, I will be your call, your call.
And I go, go, never take it slow, I will help you all, you all.
Get a raccoon, get him to sleep around here.
Well done, lessee. Sorry, Harvey, looks like you're it.
Not for long.
Well, what is it, girl?
So we cleaned the carburetor out, right there, in the middle of the desert.
And there was so much sand in the gas line, we could have built ourselves a sand castle.
Where are you heading for your next adventure, Aunt Kim?
Right here, of course. And I'm taking you with me.
What do you mean?
Well, if it's okay with your folks, I was thinking of taking you and Harvey here, camping, overnight, up to Quartz Mountain.
How does that sound?
Oh, thank you, Aunt Kim.
Sounds amazing.
Mom, Dad, can we go?
I don't see why not. Quartz Mountain is one of the best spots for stargazing in the entire park.
I'll call Beth, and I'm sure I can get her to agree.
I'm sure she will.
Well, of course you're coming, lessee. We wouldn't dream of leaving you behind.
Psst. Hey, lessee, what's going on? What's all the excitement about?
Zoe's Aunt Kim is taking us on an overnight camping trip.
Camping trip? What for?
To spend the night in the great outdoors. Watch the stars, spend a good night, and then see the sunrise.
You know, appreciate the beauty of nature.
Sounds like quite an adventure. No, thanks.
Aunt Kim is all about adventure.
Gotta go. See you later.
Hey, guys, how do you feel about taking a little camping trip?
Camping? We'd like to sleep instead.
Just like me. Lessee told me about a place where to spend a good night.
Outside?
We're animals. Why would we need to sleep outside?
Why? To embrace the spirit of adventure. By dreaming in a quiet place, of course.
We haven't got anything to go camping with.
No tent, no sleeping bag, no flashlight, no lessee.
No idea what we're doing.
We don't need all this stuff to sleep. This is about us communing with nature's dream.
Bye, Mom. Bye, Dad.
Believe it or not, I counted monkeys.
Seriously? That's like a real job?
It is when they're Bouvier's red colobus monkeys.
They're critically endangered, so I kept track of them from the air so they could be protected.
There's a great camping spot I picked out for us over here.
Hey, what if we took this trail all the way to the peak? Then we'd be even closer to the stars.
I don't think so, Zoe. The peak can be a tricky climb.
Please, Aunt Kim. We'll promise to be super extra careful. Isn't that right, Harvey?
I'll take you up there one day when you're older.
But I am older! Well, I mean, I'm older than the last time you saw me, and so is Harvey.
I guess that's technically true.
Plus we have less. Please, Aunt Kim, we can do this.
Well, I didn't fly solo the first time when I was your age.
Okay, you win. The peak it is.
But you need to promise to stay alert and be extra careful.
Yes, we promise!
You bet!
Right, guys. The aim is to carry as little as possible. You guys will have to carry my favorite chair.
And that's as little as possible?
Oh, it's completely indispensable.
And what are you carrying exactly?
Me? The burden of responsibility as I bravely lead the way.
Watch your step, guys. It's getting steep.
Yes, Aunt Kim.
I couldn't help but notice.
How about we pause for a little water break? Pass it around.
Good idea.
Thanks. I needed that.
Wow, look! An eagle!
Watch out!
Harvey, are you okay?
Thanks, Kim. You were right. This is a tricky climb.
What a sunset!
And tomorrow morning, we can watch it rise up again in the east.
And in between, we'll get our very own shooting star display.
Yes!
There!
Look at that one! And that one!
Guys, I vote we go back to the barn. It's too noisy here.
I second the motion. My back is killing me.
Don't be ridiculous.
Camping is all about roughing it in the elms.
I'm a bird. No bird in her right mind sleeps on the ground.
What about ostriches? What about penguins? What about puffins?
Those birds can't fly. I can.
Guys, the wind is picking up. We should find some place to take shelter.
Oh, it's just a little puff of wind.
But I guess it couldn't hurt for you guys to move over and use your bodies to shield me from...
Whoa! Quick! Change of plan! We need to find some place to take shelter!
Glassy!
Morning, girl.
Hey, Harvey! And Kim!
Look! Glassy wanted to make sure we didn't miss the sunrise.
I have a feeling that's what she didn't want us to miss.
See that bank of dark clouds? There's a storm brewing.
There was nothing in any of the weather forecasts.
At this altitude, sudden storm fronts can form and move in on you fast.
We need to break camp and head for home.
Yeah, okay, Glassy. We get it. Don't worry.
Glassy? Ouch!
Kim!
Are you okay? Were you bitten?
Afraid so.
It might have been a coral snake, but I'm not sure.
I am. A coral snake is definitely what it was.
But were they poisonous?
Mm-hmm. Very poisonous.
First of all, don't panic. We need to keep our heads.
But you've been bitten by a poisonous snake!
True. So it's best if I keep still.
She's right. Immobilization will help prevent the venom from spreading.
Very good, Harvey.
In fact, we should put her arm in a sling to prevent it from moving.
Glassy was trying to warn me.
I'm so sorry, Aunt Kim. I should have been paying more attention.
No, no, no. I should have been paying more attention.
This isn't your fault.
But if I hadn't insisted on climbing to the peak...
None of that matters.
She's right, Zoe. We have to focus on what to do now.
Right. Don't worry. We'll get a message to Dad.
He'll send help and fly you out of here.
I'm afraid that won't be easy, honey.
The GPS unit was in my bag.
It's caught in that eagle's nest.
Don't worry. We'll find a way to get to the bag and get you help.
I promise.
I think Glassy already has an idea.
Okay. Try not to move.
Thanks, kids.
That storm is still moving in fast.
We're going to have to find a way to move you to shelter.
What about these branch branches?
We could build a stretcher using branches like this.
That way we could move Kim to shelter.
Or make a fishing rod to retrieve the bag.
Or both!
Right. I'll go fetch some more branches. I'll leave you with Kim.
Okay.
Hang in there, Aunt Kim. We're going to get your bag back. Don't worry.
I'm not worried, honey.
I can see that I'm in good hands.
I'll be back.
I'll use two branches to make a stretcher.
Then we can carry Kim to the rocks over there.
At least that'll keep her out of the wind.
Don't worry. It'll work.
We don't have much time. Did you see her hand?
These will help. I found them.
Here, take these. They're for your fishing rod.
I'll take care of Kim's hand.
I promise I'll get that bag back.
Kim, I found some plantain.
I read how it's useful for treating bite wounds.
I've heard that before.
You know what to do?
You've got to chew them.
You are something else, Harvey.
Zoe is lucky to have a friend like you.
Let's hope we're all lucky.
Thank you for keeping me warm last evening.
I'll go finish the stretcher and I'll be right back.
The stretcher?
Yep. Just wait and see.
Are you comfortable, Kim?
Here we go. Four walls. I say a perfect shelter.
I don't know.
It looks a little dark in there.
How do we know that it's safe?
Are you kidding?
If I thought it was the least bit dangerous in there,
I'd volunteer to go in first myself.
But I'm so confident that it's perfectly safe,
I'm sending Biff instead.
I guess that makes sense.
Kind of.
Well, here goes nothing.
Looper? Is that you?
Nope. Can't be. I'm standing right behind you.
So if that's the case, let's stay calm and...
Run!
It's a monster!
What did you see?
A monster with big glowing eyes.
This is adventure. Count me out.
Meet your monster, Biff.
See? What did I tell you?
Perfectly safe.
Morn.
Well done, Lassie.
Keep it up.
Watch out on the right.
Gently now.
Nice, Lassie.
Go, girl. Go.
Only a few yards left.
Thanks, Harvey.
Thanks, Lassie.
Now I've just got to get the bag to the edge of the cliff
without it slipping.
Lassie!
Incredible!
He knows about the snakebite and everything, Kim.
Everything's going to be okay now. Dad's on his way.
Near the peak in the storm, boss.
We have no choice.
We need medical intervention ASAP.
Yes. Every minute counts.
I wish this storm would slow down.
Graham will never be able to land in this storm.
Are they...
Kids!
Right! We need to let them know where we are!
Get the flare from my bag.
Make it count!
The shelter!
Great! Who wants to volunteer for the honor of going in first?
Last time it was me.
True, true. I guess we better do it alphabetically.
P comes after V. Right, Pika?
Oh, please. Like you guys even know the alphabet.
Fine. I guess somebody has to do it.
Let's see.
The alphabet goes A, B, C. I know that much.
But I'm pretty sure H comes before P.
It's okay! All clear!
See? Told you! Now make way!
Whoa! What's this?
Hey, guys! I think we've hit the jackpot!
Come get a load of this!
And it's warm and soft. Reminds me of Mom.
If I could get some of this to the top of a tree, it'd make an awesome nest!
Guys?
Look!
That must be them. Hang on. I'm going in for a landing.
The wind is too strong! We're going to have to take off again or we'll crash!
Get in the helicopter as soon as it lands!
Kim, I'll give you the anti-venom injection on board. There's no time to lose!
Come on! Come on! Get on board!
Ready?
Oh, no!
Yes! You can do it!
You can do it!
What would we do without you?
Kim, I don't want to know!
Luke, Graham here. Tell Jefferson City General that we're airlifting a snake bite. On our way now!
Anybody here?
Kim!
The good news is that Kim is on the road to recovery. She'll be able to fly out of here in no time. Good as new!
You were amazing. All of you. You are one incredible family.
I got careless up there, and I was lucky to have you around.
That includes you, Lassie.
Thank you. From the bottom of my heart.
We're all lucky to have Lassie around.
