Improve your game!
This channel is dedicated to all the gold seeking Pickleballers out there who dink responsibly and stay out of the kitchen. We have all levels come through the channel, but we concentrate on the 4.0s, 4.5s and up to 5.5s.
I started this channel quite by accident, I was recording my games to do film study and get better. I did not have time or money for lessons from pro pickleball coach, so I started watching all my screwups. People that I was playing with started to ask if they could watch too and I said sure. That helped all of us a lot to improve our game, strategy, mental toughness, and techniques. Now we have new pickleball videos published several times a week. We occasionally have pro pickleball players on the channel. Mostly its non pro pickleball players on their quest to 5.0 pickleball. We have all levels come through the channel: 4.0 pickleball, 4.5 pickleball and up to 5.5 pickleball with the pros.

backhand
drive and pickleball it is underutilized
and you can
really catch your opponents off balance
the backhand drive is a weapon it's an
absolute weapon
and here's me hitting it here against
jack foster this is in the pro in
tampa you can go down the line with it
you can set
up a cross court by going down the line
which i just did and then go cross court
now if you're right-handed you really
want to plant that right
foot and that's what all that power is
you're really using that right foot as a
hinge
i put this in slow motion so i really
plan that right foot
and whether you're hitting the one hand
or two-hander you really want to rotate
and now this is one of my students tall
tom now there's two camera angles
i'm teaching him to really plan that
foot go from low to high get some
good top spin on that drive that's what
you want to do
and you want to make it sync now here's
me playing edward perez in a wreck game
and edward is playing pro in orlando
coming up and watch out i guarantee he
will have some big upsets
and this is why his two-handed backhand
down the line it's coming up right here
it's so good he can go down the line
with that two-hander
he can do anything he wants with it and
if you notice with the two-handed
backhand it's so
important like i said to play on that
foot but also he gets through with his
left hand most people that hit the
two-hander they make the mistake of
coming through
with the right hand but look at riley
newman he's a great example he's a pro
player
this is on a channel we just put this
game out and he's so
good he comes through with that left
hand it's almost
like you're hitting a left-handed
forehand if you're right-handed
and i know that sounds a little funny
but it's true come through with that
left hand that's so important
and he has one of the best topspin
two-handed backhands
in the world maybe the best and look at
look at this look at that rotation he
plants that right foot
goes from low to high he comes through
with that left hand
now here's me in a big money tournament
and this is where
you can really use this to surprise the
people
in doubles most people have that drop
cross court and that's a right shot
however
the element of surprise in pickleball is
so important you can really surprise
your opponent by hitting
straight at them now by hitting directly
in front of you you eliminate angles
and then you can really neutralize your
opponent i'm gonna do some encore
demonstrations we just invested in a
bluetooth microphone so
i coach at mission in and i wanna really
start showing you the mechanics of it so
thank you so much please subscribe and
have a good day
