no it is so sweet Under the Sun welcome oo Rio's Jamaica beautiful sunrise coming into Jamaica all right today we're in oo Rios Jamaica we're at the world famous dun River Falls there ain't many places like this in the world where you get to actually climb up the falls and all the rivers drain down to the falls and then the water goes directly in the ocean that's what makes this place unique I'm going to show you a complete video of everything to do here and how to get here best way to do it so let's just stop the rambling and get right into it we're in the bus we're making the 15minute bus ride over to Dun River Falls and I want to discuss a little bit of the best ways to book this tour one of the easiest way is to go to our vior homepage we got a section just for Jamaica where you can book all kinds of different excursions now if you're coming in on a cruise ship there will be buses that you can just pay to go to Dun River Falls for the day just for warning they will wait until the entire bus is full before they leave the port they're going to give you a set time to come back once you're done at the Falls and you just feel kind of Rush where a cab or if you're with a tour that might not happen all right so this is the entry way now one thing that is required here you have to have water shoes if you don't have them they will sell them to you and phone cases what you doing little guy hi there it's good to meet you all right we finally after like an hour from the waiting for that bus getting into this park oh looks like they got some straw Market stuff here check that out on the way out this place is pretty big I don't know how you do it in 2 hours there's a little bit of history about this place I want to get to the falls I will say one thing the gardens are beautiful they take care of it here but they should because it's the number one attraction in oo Rus Jamaica and that says it all you climb at your own risk they got a wet side and a dry side I'm hoping to show you both today here's the exit I'm just going to take a peek real quick oh my God this is where you climb up I don't know if I'm doing this I will tell you one thing they got a lot of disclaimers here no alcohol no nobody Under the Influence this is cool they got like a little picnic area it looks like this is some kind of a rope course so there is other stuff here besides the fall look at that bridge this bridge crosses right over the fall I might have to get up there to get a better shot it's beautiful here and you get to walk up this whole thing right here all right just so you know here at dun River Falls they do have lockers there's a beach sign to get to the beach some viewing decks restrooms changing rooms and I don't know if that's a bad sign there's a first aid station all right here my here we go I think my wife is in for an experience I'm going to video this whole thing from the side because like I said they got a wet and a dry side and I won't be getting wet I'm just here for the video y on here we go all right we're heading down to the beginning Point here which it starts at the beach and then you hike up oh my God look at that that's what you're climbing hun down here at the beginning or the end whatever you want to call it they got some cool stuff for sale we continue there's a Whirlpool entrance if you just want to get in this which I might be doing all right here you go this is where the water flows into this Beach area that's where you start you start down at the beach and work your way up here's the little beach that they have and this is a cool view from the beach this is our group they take in small groups up here so I don't know it looks like maybe 20 people here that are going to go up this Falls we do not clean all the Rocks all right so very important s the guide I show you the trail so hum CH team work some places we got to hold on water strong some places we let go we got to do the climbing you man teamw work get us to the top they're creating a human chain you got to go up with a guide you cannot do this tour without it let the track begin that's my wife in the aqua fourth person oh my God that is high see how they kind of fit tail you up this waterfall what a tour now we did this on our own it's $25 to get in we bought the ticket and you can take a shuttle or a cab up here so just another look at this Beach area here I don't see any chairs so I don't know maybe it's just enough to get in and rinsed off but that's a beautiful sight to see that's where you start and this is the Drive PA I was just saying that we came down they got to keep going I don't know how they're getting up past this thing I see a lot of panick people at this point I don't know you got to climb up this way that looks scary all right he made it my wife is down here I know she's freaking out right now all right here she goes now this right here I think I don't know what it is I thought they were going to slide down here I'm glad I didn't do this my balance is not very well this is the next leg this is an easy one there's a low tunnel here but it looks pretty deep you can see him thring through this Narrow Path area and here she comes she surv driving how you doing hun now if you're doing the dry side like me they got these poles you can just Wade right in like I did you just come down these steps which are all up and down this River if you're not a team player you might not want to participate cuz you got to help the person behind you now one thing also you can see the guy in the front there he's taking pictures the whole way they put a video I think he said it's a 15minute video obviously you got to pay for it I think he said it was like $40 in case you're interested here they come what a fantastic Tour all right there's the one of the water slides you can go down I don't know if my wife's going to do that she's going to freak out there she goes and she's got a bed back I knew she lost her hat know she kept it I'm singing and dancing I love it I'm losing my mind oh now that's hot I couldn't do it I get scared I will tell you one thing though there are great views every single part of this River it is a must do let's just call this one big and nasty here they come they're going to be tackling this big and nasty waterfall next all right as they make their way up here I will tell you one thing get here as early as you can because this place will be packed a little bit later how was it thumbs up she don't have a mic on of course but let me tell you what an Excursion you can see why it's a photo op here this lady won't get off the rock I you can see the lookout up there there's people like me two chickens now they're getting ready for this this is one thing that's nice because they'll take your picture right here at the fall all right he said this is the easy part I guess they stated di huh one of the legends of dun River Falls is that if you climb all the way to the top you will achieve Eternal Youth and Beauty I guess I better get in there and get to the top this is considered one of the natural wonders of the world it is 180 ft high waterfall with Natural Pools along the side as you climb it and they've even made famous movie here so you can see there's the exit sign you can't go much farther I don't think I don't know but here they come they just climbed that monster Falls and they're making their way up here to the end I think that's a little deep right there there's that bridge that crosses the river sun and want to go to it is so sweet on the the sun yeah I'm going to take my time I don't want to go [Music] work theyy keep going here all right that's not where you exit it continues on they're coming up some side entrance here and here they got a couple of stores in this place to explore and buy some souvenirs saying you were in done Falls you survived they got a Tranquility Garden here too check that out when you come and there's my wife hin after climbing all those things she thinks she broke her toe uh-oh lawsuit all right here's some of the markets but be careful do not give anybody anything do not hold your hand out they will try
