If you're looking to move to Delaware, specifically the Delaware beaches, I have found the perfect
townhome in the heart of Lewis, Delaware. Hello, everyone. Welcome back to my channel. If you are
new here, I'm Jen, your Delaware Realtor. I have the perfect townhome for you if you are looking
to live or even retire or honestly just have a vacation home at the Delaware beaches. This
townhome is in the heart of Lewis, Delaware, and I don't want to keep it from you, so let's just
jump right on in. All right, so this one is listed for $422,500. It is a three-bedroom,
two-and-a-half bath. It is 1,604 square feet built in 2004. This one does have a condo fee
of $300 monthly. It has a one-time capital contribution fee of $300. It does have an
outdoor pool that the HOA fee takes care of the common areas, the lawn maintenance, and the snow
removal and trash for the community. It does have a new washer and dryer as of February 25th of 2025,
and it says that the fencing and trees will be replaced at the end of the street adjacent to
Route 1. So let's take a look at what this one looks like inside. All right, so it does look
like you have a parking spot in the front of your home. You have a small little walkway up here,
so it is an interior townhome. I just want to mention that. But as you come in, we do have...
The front door is almost like a French door type of look. Now, it does look like it has a shade
right here that can be pulled down. It has the very coastal look to it, whether it be the teals
and the blues, and even with the flooring, it's a mixture of a little bit of brown with the gray.
So we do have a little foyer area here, and the powder room is right off of the foyer.
So it does have a pedestal sink and a toilet. When you come in the front door, you are going
to have stairs that are going to be to the left, and then you will have this kitchen,
which does have a little bit of a peninsula, which you can put a couple barstools over here
because it has a little bit of an overhang, two pendant lights over that area, a farmhouse sink,
which is a white farmhouse sink, most likely porcelain, and then we have recessed lights in
the kitchen area and the living room area, stainless steel appliances. You have these
windows right here in the front, which if you were to open up these shutters, I'm sure that
it is just pouring in natural light, and then you do have a space right here to put in a little bar
coffee area right here. Plenty of cabinets in this one, and the backsplash is already taken
care of for you. This does have a ceiling fan in the kitchen area as well. I'm sure if you open
these up, there's just going to be tons of natural light just pouring into this kitchen, but it is an
open floor concept, so you can see the living room area from the kitchen. This is most likely that
powder room that we just saw, and then we do have the great room right here, which does have a
fireplace, which is really nice. I know if you are not living here full-time, if you're just
thinking about using this in the summer months, you could possibly make this an Airbnb in the
winter. I see this all the time, but where people will rent out a place for holidays, for example,
Christmas or even Thanksgiving, because when you actually think about it, if you were having a
family over and say your house is in construction mode or something else, running an Airbnb
would be the perfect option because you don't have to worry about the plates, you don't have to worry
about dishes, you don't have to worry about where everyone's going to sleep because there's bedrooms
already taken care of for you, and this would be so cozy to have this in the background.
Then you do have two sliding glass doors that go out to this porch area right here. Once again,
we do have the same flooring that was in the foyer come into the living room. I would probably
put some kind of area rug down right here because I feel like it would just give it a more homey
feeling. You do have an eat-in kitchen area right here if you wanted to create a dining room
separate area, and then that is right off of this sunroom. It has two skylights with these shutters,
which match the other shutters in the kitchen area. Once again, if you open these up, I'm sure
the light is just pouring in here, and this does have a ceiling fan going for that very coastal
vibe. Then we do have the primary bedroom, which has been virtually staged, so just keep that in
mind, but this does look like it is a king-size bed. Shutters once again on the windows, open
these up, and it looks like it has a fireplace. Oh, okay. I don't know. I'm going to assume that's
not real just because of when this was built, but it is a nice added touch to kind of give that cozy
feeling in here. It has vaulted ceilings, and it has a ceiling fan, hardwood floors in the primary
bedroom. Then we have the primary bathroom. It has one sink, and I'm going to assume behind here is
most likely a tub with a shower. Then you have the laundry area, which already has the cabinets
built in for you. You have the hall bath, once again, one sink. I'm going to assume this has a
tub behind here as well. You have bedroom number two going with that same blue theme.
This bedroom does have carpet. This is most likely a full-size bed, and it does have the shutters on
the windows, so open them up. I mean, it gives you privacy, but also you have the ability to
open them up, which would give you plenty of natural light. We have bedroom number three,
which could be used as a flex room, so whether you wanted to use it as an office or a playroom,
a separate bedroom, you most likely could probably fit two single beds in here. I've seen that done,
especially when we get closer to the beaches. A lot of people will add two single beds into
one bedroom. You have an oversized rear deck, which would be great for entertaining. It looks
like you back up to trees, so whether you want to do some grilling out here or maybe put a
sectional out here and just hang out, have a fire table, lots of different possibilities.
Then it looks like you have a space for gardening as well. It looks like they have a spice garden
out here, so if you are into gardening, or you could just remove all this and just keep it
just the deck. Then that shows you you do have that line of trees behind you, and that is where
you are in the community. It looks like a decent amount of parking in this particular community
as well. All right, so like I said, that one is listed for $422,500. It is a three-bedroom,
two-and-a-half bath. It is 1,604 square feet built in 2004. Whether you are looking for a
beach home, or you are looking for a place to retire, or maybe you are looking to downsize,
this would make the perfect little townhome in the heart of Lois. If you are thinking about
