It's truly a hidden gem in the Alishan high mountain area. We started hiking from the 56 entrance off the Alishan 18 highway, which is much easier route with less stairs. Along the trail, you could see the bamboo forests, tea plantations, sakura (in spring) and lots of wild flowers, stunning sunrise/sunset, a sea of clouds if you are lucky...
