PowerPoint Layering your pictures how to layer pictures in PowerPoint tutorial 2007 2010 2013 2016

on this next video I'd like to show you how to layer your pictures on top of each other notice on this slide we have this the the the cruise and we have the sailboat so I want to move the sailboat onto the cruise and this is just an example of how you would make this work so notice how the sailboat is um is in in front of the cruise well here's what you can do to layer those you're G to pick on one of those pictures and you're going to pick on the format menu now I can say bring to front bring to front means bring it all the way to the front of the slide or if you just want to move it one level then you can say bring forward it'll bring it bring it one level up and just in case there's more than uh two pictures layered there now we can also send to the back so if I pick on this pull down I can send it all the way to the back of the slide or just send it back one level let's do a send to the the back and notice what happened the the cruise is now on top of the sailboat right whereas before I'm going to click on the uh cruise and say send to the back now you see how the sailboat is in front of the cruise so those can be very helpful for you as far as being able to L your pictures and you we can have multiple pictures here like let's get another clip art I want to try this time uh a a person and let's see if there's any that are appropriate here okay so let's just F let's just use let's just use uh the the welder I want to click on this welder and now notice how the welder is on top of the sailboat which is on top of the uh which is on top of the um the cruise all right so watch How I can layer these I want to pick on the welder and I want to say send backward now this is very subtle but notice how the welder is between the cruise and the uh the sailboat or if I say send to the back notice how the welder is now in back of the cruise so using these different options you can actually layer your pictures on top of each other uh see how in this point the welder is um is as far back as possible it's behind everything so I'm going to pick on the welder again I'm going to say bring forward it's only going to bring It Forward one level notice how it's now between the uh sailboat and the cruise if I want the wether to be all the way up front then I say bring to the front and there's how the welder is now in front of the sailboat that's how you're going to lay your pictures uh on your slide
