How's it going everybody? I'm Nikki Delventhal and this is my dog Camper Delventhal.
We live in a 2006 Toyota Prius.
And we're here to take you along on the wild ride.
So fasten up your seatbelts and let's have some fun.
Don't forget, if you like what you see,
like, subscribe, comment, share with your friends and turn on notifications.
Camper and I would be so thankful.
On last week's episode, we fix Hotel Prius and hit the road.
But this time, we have a special guest Prius camper with us.
Yeah baby, let's go.
Dan Delventhal.
We take you camping,
swimming in gorgeous waterfalls,
enjoy the local town.
Oh yeah, look at that bad boy.
The history,
and so much more.
Leaving off our adventures, saying goodbye to Dad,
and hitting the open road.
Alright you guys, next up we are visiting one of my friends who just moved to the East Coast.
If you've been following along, you know that I am having a really hard time figuring out
what I want to move into when the Prius is no more.
It's really hard to find a rig that hits all of the check boxes.
So I'm trying to find what is going to check off the most.
So my friend is the van life guru.
This guy knows so much.
So hopefully by the end of these two days, we will have a better idea of what we want to move into next.
And then hopefully it will be available.
Who is that?
How's it going?
Good, how are you?
Thanks for having me.
After some hanging out,
when vloggers unite,
and play time,
they had the great idea to try out their Winnebago,
and showed me to my home for the evening.
Oh my goodness.
This is huge!
What?
This is a full blown house!
Do you want to see the bed come down?
Yes!
This is insane.
Wow.
I'm in a mansion.
Oh my god, this is huge!
That's what she said.
I love this.
Tonight, well, the next two nights.
The next two nights, I don't know.
Whatever you want.
For the entire summer.
What do you think?
Wow.
Look at this place.
So much more room for activities.
Welcome to my home for the weekend.
This is bigger than my New York City apartment.
I used to live in New York City for almost a decade.
Four bedroom, one bathroom.
Me and three other people.
That was rough in it compared to a Prius.
Once we got settled in, it was time for bed.
Where's the lights?
Probably a lot of lights.
I think we're going to have to make our rounds.
This is different than just a lantern.
Alright camp, last one.
Say goodnight everybody.
Goodnight.
Good morning.
Are you excited for a fun day?
What a view, huh?
Alright.
Part of my rehab program is walking backwards for ten minutes.
So I am the weird backwards walking girl in the neighborhood today.
Gotcha.
That was a sweet little break from the Prius.
Look at how big that thing is, camp.
Okay, where's my coffee stuff?
Camper's food.
Good morning, would you like to come over for coffee?
YouTubers unite.
I know buddy, I know.
Yeah, I know there's a house over here,
but we also have a camper next to a Prius.
Welcome to my home.
How was it staying in the RV?
Oh my god, it was incredible.
To really get this down, you've got to use your chin.
And there you have it, the perfect cup of coffee.
So good.
Alright mate, you got some milk?
Because I didn't bring any.
Would you like some coffee with your milk?
Lunch is better at a campsite.
Oh yeah.
We are ready for the day.
And we're grabbing a bathing suit just in case.
Woo!
Let's go check out some bathings.
On an adventure.
We're going to check out some brigs.
Woo!
First stop on the adventure, we need some food.
We're getting breakfast at the local moose.
Alright.
This was a great idea.
That was so good.
Now that we have a full belly, it is time for adventure.
F*** you're so cute.
First stop was to go see Nick at Exploration Vans in New Hampshire.
Hi!
Oh, this is dope.
What a big space.
I felt super lucky to be able to visit that day.
Nick not only had a 144 high roof for us to check out, but a 170 high roof and a low roof van.
Personally, I could never do a 170.
This is too big.
I live full-time in a 148, I'm trying to design a 144 sprinter.
And just the wheelbase was perfect.
The turning radius, the ability to go anywhere.
Like this can fit in a normal parking spot and this is like a pain in the ass.
It was so valuable to get inside each van and talk about modifications, customizing.
And it was just so awesome to be able to ask them questions based on their expert experience.
We had some fun and also learned that Nick wasn't only good at making vans.
Ladies and gentlemen, Nick.
Alright, we got business down.
Now it's time for fun.
Let's go swimming. You ready?
Let's go.
It's a beautiful day for a swim.
This is beautiful.
Going under, you ready?
Just do it, just do it.
That felt so good.
Cold?
It's so cold. Oh my god, that was magical.
Okay, do it again.
Oh my goodness.
I highly, highly recommend a cold plunge for the health.
That was amazing.
Don't touch the poison ivy.
You ready to go camp?
How many tolls are we going to go through today?
Welcome to the Northeast.
Tolls on tolls on tolls.
Hey mister.
Good morning camper.
Hey there dude.
I could not imagine driving this thing.
No.
I wouldn't even try.
But still, cool to have a mini apartment.
I'm really curious what it's like up there.
I can't wait to try it.
This is great. Super comfortable.
Alright, time for some fun with our friends.
This backyard is freaking heaven.
It's huge.
Alright, we are going to take the kayaks out.
Right in Jared's backyard is the Charles River.
It's an 80-mile river that flows into Boston Harbor.
Now, here's the thing. It's not the most glamorous river.
At one point, the city told its tenants who accidentally fell into the water
that they would need to get tetanus shots because of the high amount of sewage and industrial waste.
I'm up to date on mine. It's good.
Yeah? Cool.
But don't worry. After decades of cleanup, they have done an okay job where
once a year they host a swim event where you can jump in.
I would say swim at your own discretion. I think I'll pass.
We're going to try not to fall in today.
No, we're not going to fall in today. What the heck?
Jared and I are going to brave the Charles River.
Paddle tap.
High five.
This is awesome.
Oh, this is so pretty right here.
Alright.
Hold on to my oar.
Alright, here it comes.
Oh my gosh.
Pass the camera.
We're going upstream right now.
We got the dog park to my left.
We got I-95 to the right.
A little bit of road noise.
We're all going to end up getting some tetanus shots.
Shots. Shots.
We also use the F word as a bridge.
If you want to have a f****** Boston accent,
anytime you want to say like or any filler word, you just say f******.
And then, you got to pronounce your vowels.
We got some f****** tetanus shots from the g***** Charles River.
That sounded a little bit more New York. River.
F******.
Oh god. Oh god.
Oh yeah. That's it.
Thanks for watching.
