What is the role of religious education in tarbiyat
and what is the importance of religious education
in the upbringing of a child, in shaping his personality,
we will try to know this in our today's
program. What is the reason why
we have made this segment, perhaps this is
not the reason that we consider religion only for the hereafter,
should our educational requirement
not start with values,
parents themselves have to be educated in order to
properly upbring their children, what are the
things that parents should be cautious about in the upbringing of children, so that
they do not deviate from the religion, why
not teach him good morals,
why not teach him good manners, these are the questions
that will be asked from us regarding our children,
Billa min Shaitan, Ram Bismillah
Rahman Rahim ala salam Walekum Nazreen,
once again in our program Baagban, the
program Khushamdid Baagban is
about the upbringing of children, where we, parents We
give them information about the different
aspects of tarbiyat. We have discussed earlier also that
what is meant by tarbiyat. Generally, we are
familiar with tarbiyat, but
perhaps adults are not familiar with its benefits to that extent.
We understand that tarbiyat means
teaching children some moral manners,
making them disciplined or
telling them some good things, forbidding them from some bad deeds which are
absolutely evil,
like not to abuse, not to lie,
but tarbiyat is not just its name.
Tarbiyat means to nurture the abilities that Allah Subhan Tala has placed in the human being.
When Allah Tala
created this universe, he created two types of creatures in this universe,
one Ikhtiyar and the other
Ijbaj Ikhtiyar. Creatures are those to whom Allah has
given the authority that they themselves have to come to this world and undertake
a journey and
reach perfection, and Ijbaj or technical creatures are those Whatever
ability is placed in them, it
grows to its full potential under the system of God
and reaches perfection. For example, you
can see that there is a mango tree, if you
put a mango seed in it, then by God, if it gets
that environment, then only mangoes come out of it
and nothing else. If a cow gives birth to a calf, then
it is a cow and does
not transform into anything else. But every human being is
born the same. Human beings are born according to their nature,
but someone becomes a beast, someone becomes a
tyrant, someone becomes a righteous man, someone becomes a
prophet. How does this
happen? This is the journey of choice that man makes
in this world and to be successful in this journey,
he needs guidance and
tarbiyat is an important part of the system of this guidance.
Allah Taala sent Ambiya Alam Salam
for the training of man, to refresh him, to train him, to polish him, to nurture
him, to fasten him so that he reaches his
perfection. All the abilities that he has, so that they
reach all perfection, we have given them the gift of wisdom. So, we have
seen many mango orchards having only mango trees and
apple orchards having only apple
trees, but the existence of a human being is a
garden in which Allah has placed seeds of various kinds and
all of them have to
grow in harmony and
this is called tarbiyat. Today our topic is that
what is the role of religious education in tarbiyat
because often we consider religious education to be
different from tarbiyat. We think that
tarbiyat is what a child acquires in school
where he learns manners and something else.
Religious education is different from that which a child should
learn because this makes his end.
We will try to know the answers to these questions and what is the importance of religious education in the education of a child and in shaping his personality in today's program and
like always, today also we have a special guest with us,
Janaab Doctor Professor Doctor
Mudassar Hussain sahab who is the Head of Islamic
Studies Department from GCT Lahore.
Salam waaleekum Doctor sahab waaleekum
Insha Allah, you will be satisfied with this topic,
which I think is a very important topic, which is the
basic issue of human beings. If human beings are
untrained, then today we can see
how much havoc the untrained people have caused in the world.
What evils are happening in the world
because of all these untrained people.
Therefore, we
Mutzens, who are parents, should understand what is the
role of religion in education. Before
I begin the series of questions, we will
take a small break. We will be back after the break.

again in our programme Baagban,
our topic today is the
role of religious education in the education of children in education. We have
a very respected guest present with us,
Doctor. Mudassar Hussain sahab who is the
head of Islamiyat, so doctor sahab, first we would like to
know from you that as I said that
in our system, we have divided our system into
religious education and worldly
education. We have a lot of inclination towards worldly education
because the child goes to school for 6 hours,
then he also studies tuitions and God
knows what else the parents make him do so that
he gets the marks, he gets a position and
he becomes successful in this world, but there is
not much inclination towards religious education. In the
name of religious education, the child is
taught to read Quran or a few things like
how to offer Namaaz, if fasting is sinful then he has to
keep fast or a little bit of Salam
Bismillah Masha Allah Inshallah,
all these things or some good things were
told a little bit, what is the reason
why we have made this segment, yes,
thank you very much for your appreciation, actually the
answer to your question comes out from within your intro itself.
You have said in your intro that there are
two types of creatures, Ikhtiyar and
Ijbaj Taiyari Creature. Humans and Jinns are from that.
Quran-e-Hakeem says that the
basic purpose of the creation of the creatures is
worship. Now there must be some way of worship. There must be some method. There must be
some style. To
teach that method, that style, the
elders of Allah started the series of prophethood.
Of course, all the prophets of Allah,
from Janabe Adam al-Salatu Wassalam to Nabi Akhir
Zaman Sallallahu al-Wali Wasallam, all the
prophets who came, the main purpose of their existence was that
they could teach man
what is the purpose of his coming to this world. Of course, to
teach this purpose, education is also needed and
training is also needed. Education and training are
necessary. Or we can say that man has
not come to this world to become a human being, he has
come to become one. Actually, see that
when man was created, the angels had
asked this question that O Allah, we are enough to worship you.
Why have you created this creature?
Allah had said that what I
know, you do not know. See, man is the
beloved creature of Allah and
for the education and training of this beloved creature, there is the system of Prophethood.
Now what is education? Here, what is
meant by education, perhaps, is the attainment of a degree.
Education is actually the way of God. It is absolutely
true that which leads to Him and one has to reach Him. And the
path to reach that goes through Prophethood. So, the
life of Allah's prophet is
actually a path, it is a model,
it is a model and that is one aspect of training.
See, the life of Nabi-e-Meherban (peace be upon him) is
like an open book. From your birth to your
height, your blessed life is
preserved with us in the form of a book.
Every color, every aspect of it has a system of training.
You are a father, how can you be a good father?
This is present in your goodness. You are
a teacher, a disciple and a disciple of a disciple. What would be the role
model, it is present in the community of Huzoor,
you are the head of a state, so
what is the authority of the head of a state, how will he work,
its model is that of a kindhearted prophet, the
personality of Huzoor Sallallahu Wasallam is a perfect role model
for every aspect of life, my question was the
first one, I am coming towards that
where does the tarbiyat come from, see, when Huzoor Sallallahu
Wasallam started the da'wah,
from which community did he do it, that community which was stubborn, that community which was subjugated
and the community in which there was no such
thing as human rights,
this your tarbiyat was the effect of your personality, not that the
same community
became the Imam of the world after a few years, it was the Faizane Nazar that it was the
miracle of the school, who taught manners to Ismail, son,
so prophethood basically
teaches manners and
what is your role model for teaching manners, you told the people
that the basic purpose of your teaching is to respect Allah. We have to
worship. Now for the worship of Allah,
you have given a complete framework that we have to
read Namaaz at this time, in that we have to do Sajda, in that we have to
Ruku, here we have to pray.
Now when a person exercises daily,
its effects will come on his personality.
Similarly, you see that as soon as Nabi Mehban S.
Salam reached Medina and got the
opportunity to establish a kingdom,
he first created Tarbiyat Gaga, which we
call Sufa. What happened in Sufa, the
Sahab-e-Sufa was taught. That is,
basically, the
opinion of us, the parents, is that our child should
become an engineer, a good doctor,
but is he meeting the standards
that have been set by Shariat and Islam?
Why is this not true for a completely successful person? The reason for this is that the
way of living life or its purpose has changed.
At one time, it was believed that a truly
successful person is one who, while living in this world,
prepared the things for the hereafter.
Absolutely, now our purpose is that a real
successful person is one who has
accumulated so much wealth that he
can spend 80-90 years comfortably, so now the
whole life of a human being is spent in business after business,
well we are the culprits for this, we,
these parents, because we never
asked any father what is the standard of your son's
upbringing, what is the standard of your daughter's upbringing,
we always ask
how many grades he has got, how many A+ he has got, will he do it, will
he become an engineer, if we
tell him that he will become a Maulana, then
one reason for this is also that in our country, whatever
you are pointing towards, in our country, those
families who want their children to
reach a big position,
it never came to their mind that
their child should become a Alamdan, absolutely one thing is
very well known that things of childhood are remembered till 55 years, the
things which are taught to a child in childhood,
its effects remain till 55 years,
this is how it is understood, now that is why when our If the
point of view becomes merely worldly, then
those things will be left behind, that is, I
also know such people who have PhD and done
CSS, they became doctors and engineers,
but believe me, they neither know how to read the Holy Quran, nor do
they remember two or four verses properly,
nor do they have the basic knowledge of religion. Tarb (training) will be possible
only when you have the
basic knowledge of religion because knowledge has two
aspects, one is Farz Kifaya and the other is Farz Inn. Farz is that
knowledge without which you cannot live
your life
and being a Muslim, it is obligatory for you to have
such education. Just
imagine
from where all places our parents get degrees for their children, but that
child is not capable of praying for them if God
forbid the parents leave this world. He does not
even know, why does he
not know this because his
parents did not pay attention to this and
guess that the most accepted prayer for children is the
prayer for children in the favor of parents. If he is a child then
he should be tarbiyat, right? I will tell you an incident,
how tarbiyat happens. Once,
Janabe Imam Hasan (RA)
went to the mosque and saw a
man performing ablution, but he was making mistakes in it.
Now one
way of doing it was that you should have stopped him and said,
no, you should not perform ablution like this, you are doing wrong.
You did not do this. You sat with him and
performed ablution yourself so that he can see
how ablution is performed. What does this prove? This
proves that the environment of tarbiyat will be
created only when the parents give priority to tarbiyat.
When the parents teach the child that if a
guest comes, how to receive him, if he has to talk to
an elder, what manners to follow, if he has to
call a younger child,
what manners to follow,
how to look after the rights of his brothers and sisters, and the most important thing is that
how much importance he gives to religion.
A system will have to be made for this, but here,
perhaps this is not the reason that We
consider religion to be only for the afterlife, this is the
biggest flaw in us. We think that religion has no
role in the world. Here, there are
only three things in our concept of religion.
Basically, Namaz, Roza and one or two things. You have completed the annual
Mehfil-e-Pak. So, you have understood that
our religion is for the whole world. But see,
your role is in the mass, for
example, you are sitting on a channel, or there would be a
channel owner, it is his responsibility. In the same way,
you are sitting as an anchor, it is your responsibility.
Our cameramen are present,
their responsibilities are also
within the Shariat. Basically, the one who has the
responsibility, he does
not have religion. Therefore, it is said that everyone will be
questioned about his Rayat, about Raya, so what will be the question, that is, have you
trained it or not? Have you
taught it or not? So, the concept of religion is complete.
This picture that we have here is
a very complex picture and this is the biggest issue. It is
in the Sagir, that is, in the world of Islam,
in the Sagir, this issue is more that the salt of the people here is
very limited or we
put only as much salt in a food as is required in our life, that is
enough to get the taste. Now
see, our children, you can believe them, they are
so far away from the system of upbringing that
they do not know how to open the door, if a
guest comes, how to say Assalam Walekum to him, how to receive
him, how to make him sit, with what name to
call him, in what style to call him, no one knows, then our
children do not know the etiquettes of eating food, then our children do not
even know the
etiquettes of two people, how to talk to the parents,
we are absolutely so, this is because the system that
we have now
revolves around the mark sheet, that is, which is the
successful school here
about which it can be said that 60 out of its 100
children have succeeded in A plus grade,
this is our argument of its success,
although this is a worldly test.
And maybe this is the reason that today we become
professionals, become good doctors
but they are not good, they are
working for money, Ruh Balali is there, she kept
saying Azaan Ruh Bilali na rahe, that is,
when your child does
FSC and you ask him what will you
become, then the son or daughter
says yes I will become a doctor, then you ask the next
question that why will you become a doctor, he will
say that for the service of humanity, but
as soon as he comes back after spending five-seven years in a medical college,
his behavior changes,
this is the attitude of a police officer,
this is the attitude of an ustaad, this is the attitude of
an engineer as well, what is the reason for this, the
reason for this is that the tarbiyati part in our Nisab is
not there, it is not there,
because of that our Nisab
only produces a professional but the
qualities of a good person are
not produced in him and this is also
amazing, if you see why Ambiya Alaihim Salam
came, they did not have any They have
not given any professional training, you can guess that
none of the prophets of Allah has
built any building, nor any road, nor
anything else. Can you say that they have
developed any huge infrastructure? Actually,
they created human beings, that means,
you consider it a small thing that a human being or a
community which was the most savage community,
became the most civilized in just a few years. This
real change is that
those Arabs, those Arabs who used to fight, became
free from the minds of the leadership of the world, they went
ahead in education, they went ahead in philosophy, they went ahead
in science, the
idea behind it was that the
purpose of this life is the preparation for that life, this is a means, life is a
means. Now, one
thing is very important for tarbiyat, doctor sahab, we are having a very
good conversation with you, but it is
our time for a small break. We will
take a break here and Insha Allah, then we will
continue our series of questions and conversation with you.
Viewers, we will take a small break on this topic. Stay tuned to the
program Baghban. If you are
liking the videos of Ra TV, then support us
and subscribe to our channel and
yes, press the bell icon
so that our every new video
reaches you. Viewers, once again
in the program Baghban, Khushamdid, our
conversation continues that the
role of religious education in the upbringing of children. Till now we have
heard this from our respected guest and
also discussed that we do not give importance to religious education
because our life, our
lifestyle has become such that we are
engaged in the race of business, we have
changed the path of success in life, whereas the
Quran, the book of Allah Taala, says that it talks about
Muflih Falah, that is, the one who does
harvesting, who shows his inner
ability, respect and values by making them alive,
he brings success in life,
he is a successful person, whereas in our country, a
successful person is the one who can earn the most,
who has a good car, who has a
good house, he is a successful person
because we have ignored the aspect of upbringing.
Here in tarbiyat, the first
thing that doctor sahab was also talking about was that whatever he
talked about, if I
take it in my hand, then we
call it value, which increases the value of a human being, a human being
becomes a human being and Allah has
mentioned more than 40 values in the Quran itself that these should be inside a human being, just
like you also talked about the
most important value of responsibility is the Ahad that
every human being should be responsible, for
example, today we become a professional,
but we do not think that as soon as we
become a professional, this knowledge that I have got,
this too has been received from Allah,
whether it is a doctor or science, all these are the
rights of Allah, whatever he made Kashf, whatever he
remembered, whatever went into his mind, then the
ability to understand in the mind was also
given by Allah, the ability to see with the eyes was also
given to him by Allah, but
after becoming a professional, he forgets that
what is my responsibility now, whatever I have achieved, it
becomes my first duty to pay it,
whether I get compensation in return or not, then
when If we talk about values, then
what about being the head of Islamic
department, what about our educational Nisab, which
is religious educational Nisab, I am talking about it,
not about madrasas. I am a
normal person, whether religious education is given to children at home
or Islam is
taught in college, shouldn't it start from values?
We start it by
teaching a few Aqays from some Kamat, making a mix of
it, making it a syllabus. What all did
Rasula Salam come and first of all did not prove
his sincerity, first of all proved
his honesty,
presented his character by bringing it forward,
so what is this missing element? Why did it happen that
we started from somewhere else? The
basic reason for this is that
in our Nisab system, the people who are Maulvis, who have been given
this authority by the government, should
arrange the Nisab, they are mostly government
officers, that is, the syllabus should be given to the subjects or the
people related to the knowledge. And
in Nisab arrangement one is not involved in that way.
See, knowledge is recognized later. When
you meet a person, then you are
influenced by his style of talking.
You are influenced by the way he sits and stands.
You are influenced by his attitude and warmth. The
scholarly talks will
happen later. So you are right in saying that actually
education should begin with values.
This is the biggest flaw in our Nisab and
its basic reason is that our Nisab has been
borrowed from the West.
Now the West has its own culture. Every community has its own
culture, its own civilization, its own
values. Our
culture of the world of Islam, the civilization, its main aim is
Islam. See, those who were the
worst opponents of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), they also used to
testify about your truthfulness and trustworthiness.
Even Abu Jahal said that
Muhammad (peace be upon him), I will not call you a liar. I
can do that but I do
n't have the heart to believe in what you say. Similarly,
when Abu Sufyan was asked in the court of Kaiser-e-Ram
that how is Mohammad, then Abu Sufyan, who was
your worst enemy, said that he
is the most wise man of the Qaiser. Why did you say that, there is character in it, there is
tarbiyat, the basis of which is
character building in today's era, which
we call tameer charitra, for that
we need to establish a tarbiyat system,
which should start from basic values.
These values are
seen here and there, but we, that too our
ancestors, who were
so close at that time, I will give you an example that in our
place, especially in the villages, when a
guest used to come, that guest would sit on the charpai, so the people of Khana used to
sit on the lower side of the charpai, they used to make the guest sit on the
top and they themselves used to sit below.
What was this, it was a culture, this happens today, today
as soon as a child comes to the house,
what is the first question that the guest asks, that is password.
Give it to us in our local language, that is, the
greetings, the prayer, the style of sitting, that mannerism, that
appropriate sentence, that appropriate dress,
all these questions and answers are behind it. The
first question is the password. Now, from here the problem
starts. Now the child who has
come to your house with the password, has opened the internet, has
opened the mobile, he is not getting your attention.
Now, from here the role of parents starts
that our parents do not give time to the children. That
is, this is what I wanted to come to you about, firstly,
you said that in our educational
system, the education of Islam does
not start with the value of asking, but
how can parents give it? It is
necessary for parents that the parents are the first example.
If the parents themselves
put themselves in the Islamic column, see
where the revolution starts. The revolution
starts from the caste of the individual. When we ourselves do
not become role models, then we cannot expect anything from anyone else.
When the father himself says, go
out son, tell father sahab at home. No, what would be
his upbringing when the mother,
instead of teaching her children manners, gives them mobile phones so that they can
watch cartoons and don't bother me while I am
busy with some other work,
what would be his upbringing, see, in our country,
especially with regard to the upbringing of daughters, the blessed
Prophet (peace be upon him) described great virtues,
he said that the one to whom Allah gave
two daughters or one, there are different types, yes three, the one
who educated them and got them married, he will be
with me on the Day of Doomsday, said that the bodies became like
these two, exactly like these, right, now so many
virtues have been described, tarbiyat, what is tarbiyat, tarbiyat is
basically to
teach the etiquette of life, to live
life on the lines of life, for example, we have
a child, we have to
take him to namaz at the age of 6 years,
this habit has to be strengthened at the age of 10 years,
we have to teach him that son, when you have to eat, you have to
eat from one side, the meal
starts with Bismillah And when you have to eat, you have to
sit and
eat with respect. Then you have to keep the utensils on one side
and clean them as well. Then we
also have to tell the child that when you finish eating, the
place where you are sitting should be leveled
or restored to its original form.
Then you have to tell the child that
he should not lie. Now, the child will not
learn from you just by telling him or by role model.
Seeing the parents as role models, many
parents come to me and ask me
what do you teach the children. I
always give them the same answer that in 24 hours, the
child comes to us for five hours and he is with
you for 19 hours. So, you do
not give us the account of 19 hours. You ask us for the account of five hours.
Similarly,
we also take care of tarbiyat. For this, the biggest
issue is that you should
make tarbiyat courses for the children in which the children should be
shown by acting how to do the work
and there should be modules for it. The first module is this, the
second is this, the third is this, the fourth is this and
in this, for our daughters, There should be
special modules so that every individual
understands his responsibility. The issue here is that we do
not feel our own responsibility
and in the matters of others, we
start considering ourselves Aristotle. So,
until the module system is not introduced for tarbiyat,
even the parents will not feel their responsibility, the
teacher will not feel the responsibility
and we will
not make it a part of a syllabus. That non-destiny of
destination, which you and I are talking about, its achievement will
remain a dream until it is not done practically. It is a
very good thing that
you have said, Doctor Sahab, that the parents themselves will have to undergo tarbiyat for the
right upbringing of their children and the upbringing starts with
values, those principles in the home, the
correct principles of living life, the Quranic principles
which we call them and the principles taken from the Seerat,
those principles will have to be implemented in our home, only
then will tarbiyat happen. We will continue the
series of questions with you. We take
a small break here, viewers. Keep
watching the program Baapan. If you are
liking the videos of Ra TV, then
support us and subscribe to our channel
and yes,
press the bell icon as well so that our every new
video reaches you. Once
again, our Khushamdid conversation continues in the program Baghban. The
role of religious education in the upbringing of children. Deen in reality
is a law of life which Allah Taala
presented to us in two ways. One, he wrote it down
in his book, registered it in his book
and explained all those principles of living life
theoretically there, but at the same time,
Allah Subhan Taala also sent us teachers to show us how to implement that theory.
According to the traditions,
Allah Taala sent 124000 Ambiya Alam Salam as
role models for humans
and their leader among all of them is our
Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, who is the
best teacher who has such a high status of Akhlaq at such a high
status of human being. The
personality is among us and we are among their Ummah,
today we do
not have this justification that we do not know
how to be educated, how to learn the religion, we Allah
Taala has ended all the arguments that are on us
and then it is found in the tradition that the
most fragrant flower among the flowers of heaven will be the one who will be a child who has received a
righteous education
and the parents will be asked that
how did you educate your children,
we this doctor sahab, I was saying this earlier also that
we probably do
not give importance to religious education because we
think that the work of religion is not so much in our life in this
world, the work we are doing in the
name of religion, we will get it in the end, we have
also taught in the same way, if you do this then you will get
so many trees in heaven, if you
do this then you will get punishment in hell, no
one talks about justice and punishment in this world, whereas in
reality when a person becomes valued in religion, then
how much respect he gets in the world, he is a
truthful person, A
doctor who is trustworthy, never lies, he will not
prescribe you the wrong treatment for money, we
respect him, that miracle comes
inside him, he becomes Karim, the person in
whom values are inculcated, then
religion gives this kind of support to man, but we have
pointed out that they have the knowledge to teach religion
and some of the capable ones teach religion to their children in such a way that
perhaps the children become apostates, then
what would be the do’s and don’ts
for the parents, what should they do, so you have
told that there are many examples in parents, what are those
things which parents should be cautious about while educating their children and what should they not do so
that they do not turn away from religion, the
most basic thing in this for parents is that they should
control their anger,
our parents,
especially the mothers, get
angry very quickly, they
start beating the child, call him in some bad
manners and some capable parents start quarrelling with
each other. We fight on this basis and the
children get affected by them. So the
first principle is to keep the atmosphere of the home happy
and not to be strict with the children.
I tell you,
Sabam Meherban S.K. was
educated by all, so when he used to teach the children, he
taught them in the form of a story. Just like the Quran has
also told stories of the prophets, and secondly,
we too are from that generation
who keep on listening to stories from their grandmothers in their childhood.
Your channel is also
doing this work.
Story is a powerful tool to explain our conversation,
so parents should teach the children
in a story-style. Stories create
interest or
make the religious education, the education interesting.
People get dissatisfied with education only because
we have made it so difficult, so dry
and strict, so that
education is the name of learning while playing.
That is why the educated people of the world, the
civilized people, you will see that
in Japan or the UK Etc. the child does
not do any work after coming home, he is
trained inside the school itself, he is given training for
all the things, he does not even have homework, he does not even have
homework, in our country the
child grows up so much that
he does not have time to come home and settle down, the real
problem is probably this, isn't it? The Quran
just puts such a rule on us,
in the books we put more burden on a child than his age, it is
a very beautiful thing that it has been
said that do not direct a child
towards Namaaz at the age of 7, it
means that the proper training that you have to give him,
along with that you have to teach him this work after seven years,
before that teach him respect for seven years,
teach him values, now what happens in our country is that when the
child is barely nine years old he is put
in KG, he is
put in Prep, in Montessori
and the parents think that
their responsibility is over but the real
responsibility, again I am saying this again and again will
remain the same, now the school people have
40 children or 50 children and
if they teach him in five hours If he spends even 10 minutes on one child,
50 children are not enough. Now the
issue is that parents should establish a system of education at home,
they should make a rule for the children
that this is the time to eat,
food will be eaten, this is the time for you to
play, this is the time to play, this is the time to do
household chores,
and when they themselves stand up for prayer, the
children stand with them on their own. If
parents create an atmosphere of prayer at home, for
example, if the father is
going to the mosque, then without the child being accompanied, even a single prayer
cannot be taught. If
every mother is praying, if she
makes her daughter stand with the prayer mat, she will stand with herself, that
means, in the homes where you develop such an atmosphere, there is no
need for that strictness,
but there is another thing as well, those who are religious in nature
and want their
children to get ahead in studies very quickly, they
overdose on it, that haste is
not good in any work, well, in our
religious class. This is the biggest issue of the school that
they think that perhaps the things that
I have learnt at the age of 35, I should
not teach to my child at the age of 6, then they overburden him. As a
result, the child becomes disinterested in both education and training.
See, a human being has
a natural age,
you should adapt the training system to that natural age. If you put the responsibilities of a
45-year-old on a person at the age of 20, then
his
personality will also get affected. I believe that the
system that runs in schools, the
rote system, if you make the child memorize the religion, we also do
not make any mistakes in it, I will give you an
example.
As an example, you have to make your child memorize a dua (supplication),
I think the easiest way of doing this is that
when you are sitting at home, you should recite that dua in a
slightly louder voice, so that the child is not towards you,
or when you are standing for namaz, speak a little
louder, so that the child can hear you.
Well, things are memorized very quickly from the society,
you can tell this to the child. If you memorize it by reading from a book, it will
take time. You will explain it to him
in the form of a story or by putting him in a special environment. Religious
education should be less direct and
not too direct, this is the way it is a good
thing. Good conversation. Let me add a small sentence in it. A
small sentence that whether it is a
teacher or a father, he should be gentle in his attitude.
Most of the
problems arise here when we ourselves, the
teacher or the parents, get irritated and then we
take out that irritation on the child. So
first of all, correct your attitude towards the
teacher, the father and the mother
and explain to the children easily, gently
and in easy words.
One problem here is that we use those words
which are beyond the understanding of the child.
Coming to his level, talking to the child by
keeping the child's understanding in front is the greatest art of conversation. Did
Nabi Mehban (peace be upon him) have this ability? Did the tribe in which he belonged to get this ability? A person of the tribe used to come and used to
talk in the accent of the same tribe, absolutely
doctor sahab, thank you very much, you had a very
nice conversation here and
Inshallah we will continue to talk to you on similar
topics, Mustafa, our topic today was
very important, that is why we had invited only
one guest from our specialist guest
so that we could get time and have a
detailed conversation, here you must have
also heard and understood that religious education
plays the most important role in the upbringing of a child, in
his direction, in his progress, your
child may become an excellent doctor, an excellent
engineer, an excellent IT professional, a
software expert or a
businessman, but if he does not
become a human being, then perhaps he has become nothing, Allah Taala said that
you should not ask this question that
why did you not make your children doctors and engineers,
but you must ask this question that why did
you not make him a good human being,
why did you not teach him good morals, why did you not teach him
good manners, these are the
questions that will be asked to us about our children
and if we move towards religious education, then
certainly Worldly education is
not separate from religious education, it is a part of it.
If you want to study physics, science,
biology, maths,
all this is Allah's system, it is Allah's
creation. Sitting in a madrasa, a religious scholar who is
becoming a scholar, a scholar of knowledge, is
studying the truth of Allah and a
scientist, after seeing the truth of Allah, is inkling
it. Both are
between the truth and truth of Allah, there is
no difference between them. So
we should try to educate our children in the best way, do
not ignore education by
going behind worldly education and Alhamdulillah,
by the grace of Allah, Doctor Sahab
told me that teaching should be done in a modular way,
modules should be made. This is what Hora TV has
done for you.
Along with entertainment, religious education for children is focused on values, ethics, Akhlaq,
morals and you can watch it
on this channel, perhaps this is the only channel where
when it is time for Namaaz, The
transmission stops and the azan and Quran
and its sequence continues so that your children
at least know the importance of namaz and it should not happen
that during the time of namaz they are sitting and watching some
entertainment or cartoon or something like that
and ignore the time of namaz.
This is a small effort
of this channel. Insha Allah, with the smiles of our guests, this
series will move forward and it will be an
excellent and a dual system. As far as the media
can do it, media cannot do every work,
after all the parents have to do
this
work practically, as much as possible, we are making all the efforts from our side in the field
and this effort,
Insha Allah, will continue. Insha Allah, we will meet again
with you in the next episode.
Keep watching the program Baaghban. Until then,
Allah
