Trump’s Congress speech met with ‘scowl’ and ‘outrage’ from Democrats

Sky News host James Macpherson discusses how the Democrats remained “unmoved” during US President Donald Trump’s Congress address.

US President Donald Trump has addressed Congress for the first time since taking the White House to push his hard-line stance on mass deportations of illegal migrants, with the families of violent crime victims in attendance.

“It was amazing how the Democrats were unmoved throughout it, the only thing that moved was their facial expression from scowl to outrage back to scowl again,” Mr Macpherson said.

“Trump said he’s going to end the mutilation of children in the name of gender ideology … and the Democrats could not even manage an applause.”
