#Chinesenavy #Chinanavalcommanders #China
In recent years, with the intention of realizing a long-term maritime strategy, China has invested heavily in its navy, increasing its equipment rapidly. The Chinese navy has about 300,000 people in active service, with three fleets in the North, East and South Seas.
Going by the numbers alone, China's People’s Liberation Army Navy ranks first in the world, with the largest number of active ships. The total tonnage of these vessels ranks second in the world, with approximately 2.3 million tons. Going by capability, it’s also about second in the world, after the US Navy.
