Ukraine War: "To Be Or Not To Be, That's the Question"
#Ukraine #Ukrainian #russia
we gave you through this stupid
president 350 billion the attitude of
the EU on February 28th Ukrainian
president zelinsky's meeting with
President Trump in Washington ended on a
sour note the US declined to provide
security guarantees for Ukraine and the
anticipated us Ukraine mineral agreement
was put on hold however across the
Atlantic in the UK on March 2nd the
scene was entirely different the leaders
of 18 European nations including the UK
France and Ukraine gathered in London
where they unanimously emphasize strong
support for Ukraine British prime
minister starmer announced four steps to
support Ukraine after the summit first
continuing military aid to Ukraine and
exerting economic pressure on Russia
second ensuring that lasting peace
guarantees Ukraine's sovereignty and
security with Ukraine's involvement
third strengthening Ukraine's defense
capabilities post peace agreement to
prevent future threats and fourth
establishing an alliance dedicated to
upholding Ukraine's peace agreement and
ensuring peace Additionally the UK
announced it would allow Ukraine to use
1.6 billion in export financing to
purchase approximately 5,000 air defense
missiles signaling further support
European autonomous defense was another
key Topic at the summit reflecting a
widespread sense of urgency and a desire
for change among European leaders they
have clearly realized that in the face
of the Ukraine crisis and potential us
Russia talks Europe must reduce its
Reliance on the US and bolster its own
defense capabilities European Parliament
president Ursula F liion announced at
the summit's conclusion that she would
submit a comprehensive plan to rearm
Europe on March 6th explaining that
there is an urgent need to increase
military investment to prepare for the
worst case scenario she also emphasized
that Europe must turn Ukraine into a
steel porcupine too tough for aggressors
to swallow however there were also
critical voices Marine Leen leader of
France's right-wing National rally party
remarked the European commission has
once again overstepped its Authority as
always it exploits crises to seize power
that do not belong to it but to nation
states it has already used this approach
to control immigration policy during the
migrant crisis and the health sector
during the covid pandemic we must reject
this practice with all our strength
meanwhile across the ocean in the US
president Trump criticized zin's remarks
in Europe about the long long road to a
ceasefire tweeting this is the worst
statement that could have been made by
zilinski and America will not put up
with it for much longer it is what I was
saying this guy doesn't want there to be
peace as long as he has America's
backing and Europe in the meeting they
had with zalinski stated flatly that
they cannot do the job without the US
probably not a great statement to have
been made in terms of a show of strength
against Russia what are they thinking in
another post Trump criticized Europe
pointing out that since the Russia
Ukraine War Began Europe has spent far
more money buying Russian gas and oil
than it has on military aid to Ukraine
exposing the hypocrisy of European
politics Europe has spent more money
buying Russian oil and gas than they
have spent on defending Ukraine by far
although the summit was Lively its
outcomes seemed less than optimistic
amusingly the European leaders agreed to
draft a Ukraine peace plan but still
needed to submit it to the US before the
summit French president macron told
lefigaro that France and the UK had
proposed a one-month ceasefire along
Ukraine's air sea and energy
infrastructure front lines and that
Europe would not deploy peacekeeping
troops to Ukraine in the short term it's
unclear whether they consulted Russia
before submitting this proposal
zelinsky's choices today British prime
minister Kier starmer issued a Stern
warning to president Trump a view
seemingly shared even by Nigel farage
leader of the reform UK party who is
typically starmer's opponent a mineral
deal alone is not enough but let me
remind Trump Russia is the aggressor
zalinsky is the war leader his country
has been invaded and we should all
support him rather than graveling to
Putin starmer's stance may have a basis
on January 17th before zelinsky's White
House visit starmer and zalinsky
finalized a deal tying Ukraine's
critical mineral wealth to the UK well
into the next Century this deal covers
defense security energy and
infrastructure and includes a dedicated
task force to maximize the benefits of
Ukraine's natural resources in other
words while zalinski appeared to be
negotiating sincerely with the US and
Washington he had already secretly
aligned with the UK creating a
significant conflict of interest with
the supposed us mineral deal one can't
sell the same Goods to two buyers right
many have questioned zelinsky's actions
viewing them not just as disrespect to
the Trump Administration but his
outright deceit still zilinsky believes
he can salvage his relationship with
Trump and remains intent on signing a
mineral deal with the us he has
dismissed claims that America will stop
supporting Ukraine while repeatedly
asserting that Ukraine will not seed
territory to Russia for a peace deal
this stance seems contradictory and
illogical meanwhile recent remarks by
Andrew yach head of the Ukrainian
presidential office have drawn
widespread attention yac wields
significant influence over zelinsky's
decisions since the War Began zalinsky
has replaced his defense minister
military commander-in-chief and many
senior officials but never yac in an
interview with Phoenix TV and cgtn at a
European airport ymac said now is the
time to arrange a meeting between the
two leaders I think this is a critical
moment because China could play an
important role in a peace agreement
these comments suggest zilinsky is
desperate to escape his current
predicament changes in the US president
Trump's stance on Ukraine seems
increasingly clear he recently stated
making a deal shouldn't be that hard it
could be done quickly now maybe someone
doesn't want a deal and if someone
doesn't I don't think that person will
be in power for long I wouldn't listen
to that person for long because I
believe Russia wants a deal I believe
the Ukrainian people definitely want a
deal a senior us defense department
official recently revealed that
President Trump will order a suspension
of all military aid to Ukraine until he
is convinced that Ukraine's leadership
demonstrates a genuine commitment to
peace at the same time the Trump
Administration appears to be engaging
more frequently with Russia including
plans to lift sanctions this is part of
a broader diplomatic effort particularly
tied to negotiations aimed at ending the
Ukraine war US Treasury secretary Scott
bessent publicly acknowledged this
possibility in a February 20th 2025
interview with Bloomberg TV noting that
sanction relief could hinge on Russia's
cooperation in peace talks on March 3rd
2025 reuter's article further confirmed
that the Trump Administration is
preparing options to lift sanctions on
certain Russian entities and individuals
including oligarchs for upcoming
discussions with Russian Representatives
this us Russia interaction could bring
positive changes potentially hastening
the end of the Russia Ukraine war and
fostering peace and stability in the
region recent us polls also show public
support for Trump's push for peace
negotiations and a peaceful
resolution Reflections on the war this
is a shocking Drone footage of a
Ukrainian soldiers Cemetery stretching
endlessly into the distance according to
president Trump the war has so far
caused over 700,000 Ukrainian casualties
and over 900,000 Russian casualties
totaling more than 1.6 million over 3
years an average of over 10,000
casualties per week this is the
brutality of war in his famous tragedy
Hamlet Shakespeare poses the question to
be or not to be that is the question
when war engulfs the world we live in no
matter who we are or where we are there
are no survivors thank you for watching
and see you next time
