The denim that best combines with this type of style are those with a straight leg, which have a little room for maneuver to go up. Of course, you will not want to try this with wide-legged jeans, which will not stay in place because they have too much volume at the bottom. Likewise, tight jeans can sometimes also look a bit old-fashioned if you do that too. But cutting straight leg jeans will help modernize the look. And having that winter transition footwear in the spring feels really relevant. For example, with wedges, platforms or boots that you can put underneath. This is a denim trend that started in 2024 and has only grown with strength, since brands are making jeans with a fold and slacks for you. But if you don't want to spend money on that, this is the easiest way to do it yourself. Another way to make your old jeans look and feel so current is to make a completely denim look. This is one of the most popular sets that I see on social media. It is also a big trend on TikTok right now. They are also a wonderful canvas to put on jewelry and color touches. I love to combine this look with a sweater on the shoulders and tie it with a triangular scarf made by yourself. And, personally, I really like to combine my cowboy pants. I think it looks very striking when they combine very well. But, again, you don't have to worry about it being perfect. Another way to buy in your closet and make your sets look new is with a belt. Putting belts on clothes gives them that new shine that we sometimes long for. And sometimes it's not about buying new cowboy boots, but about adding that accessory that we may miss. Which leads me to the second trend that I really want to share with you, which is to stack belts. Belts take up more and more space in conversations with publishers, walkways, and even when looking in stores. You can see many more belts available than before. I feel that before belts were like a late occurrence, like a section on the back of the store where they said, Oh, belts, as if they were trying to sell you in the last second. But now even companies seem to be focusing all their energies on belts. For example, I just ordered this Peach London belt, it is a very beautiful and substantial corset belt that I am looking forward to wearing. But the trend we are going to talk about today is to stack belts. And that means that on all walkways and in the urban style we see stacked belts. That means two things. Either you have a belt long enough to do a couple of laps, like I have some from the beginning of 2019 or 2018. Or you choose to wear completely different belts, which is more fun and possibly more creative, and combine them yourself. This is a very easy way to look super fresh and elegant for the spring of 2025. And it adds a lot of interest to an outfit. I could have made many different decisions with this look and maybe put on a white blazer or something more feminine, but putting on something a little more daring gives it a great touch. Many of us have a leather bomber jacket in the closet and, if you don't have it, it is probably worth investing in it. It is a wonderful transition garment.
