Welcome back to the channel guys. It is the final tournament here in Las Vegas and the final PBA
tournament of the year. If you guys watched my last video, I came up just short of making the
finals by four pins. I had a bad last game and dropped from eighth to seventeenth, so that was
very frustrating. Way to end that tournament, no doubt about it, but the positives are we're
throwing the ball very good. We're in the pocket most of the time. The equipment that Darren Tang
just drilled me is feeling incredible, so there's a lot of positives to take from the tournament
and I'm going to keep that positive attitude going into today. Today's going to be eight
games of qualifying and they're going to cut to the top 24 bowlers. I think there's over 100 bowlers
in today's field, so this is one of the biggest tournaments of the year with the biggest payouts,
so we're going to try our best and redeem ourselves from yesterday and make sure we're in
that finals so we're back tomorrow and bowling for the title. We did get a check from the last
tournament, so that's one more positive thing to take from it, but we're going to head over
to the bowl now and I'll see you guys there. Good luck, man. Thank you.
Well, Mike, we made it to the halfway point. Get back here.
We just finished up four games and it has been way harder than yesterday, that's for sure.
I've been grinding a minus 19 after four. Kind of frustrating after a 2.46 start with urethane,
but everything right of five today is not hooking and if you get it left quick it goes
face to Brooklyn, so playing a lot harder, but scores are overall much lower today. There's
a few people whacking them, but we got a lot of work to do, but keep a positive attitude
and finish strong with this back half. Let's get it.
Well, that was completely shocking. Just finished game six on notoriously the worst pair in the
house and the same one that cost me the tournament yesterday, which I shot 160 on, I somehow switched
back to my urethane and shot 278 on it. The gutter was actually hooking. I was able to move back to
the right and just banged it off the gutter and that was huge for me. Now I'm right back in this.
That got me now to, yeah, that got me back to plus 48, so we are well in this tournament now.
We got two games left and we're going to make a run here, so let's get it.
Got Tim Kegel doing what Tim Kegel does. Sucking. 140.
What are you doing? Are you saying 220 average roller beat you?
This is getting weird real quick. They're high-fiving over sucking.
Mark it.
Come on.
Then something just snapped something inside of me. I didn't care anymore.
Okay, I understand it now.
Right after my last update of 279, pair was doing the complete opposite. Gutter was not
hooking at all and shot like 158 on it. So I made a huge change the last game.
Gave it my best run. Managed to shoot 238 very last game to finish plus 38,
and that was unfortunately not enough to make the finals. I was about 20 pins shy of cashing,
but honestly still had a great tournament. Nonetheless, it was just an up and down battle
for everybody all day. They played way harder than the day before at the non-champs, so I'm
still getting used to my new bowling balls and my new fit. I only threw those four bowling balls
that Darren drilled me the entire tournament because I didn't want to go back to my old
equipment. So I got a bunch of new balls to drill when I get back home, and I think next season is
going to be a very good one. So I do appreciate all of you watching all the regionals this year.
Gonna have a ton of content coming your way before the end of the year. All the collabs
with Darren and the cleanup crew. So look out for those, and I'll see you on the next one. Peace out.
