A look at America's most iconic, beloved, and influential helmet that served over 40 years and through 3 wars for the United States. This video will go over the service life and major changes of the m1 mostly the liner as the shells had very few changes, most of the periods covered in this video will be during WWII and the Vietnam war. The video will also cover some of the different patterns and variants of the m1, as well as some information as how to determine what era your helmet came from.
