In the afternoon of September 16th, Xi Jinping concluded his three-day trip to Central Asia, flew directly back and arrived in Beijing late that night. The same afternoon, seven fires broke out in Changsha, 3 of which were severe. Hehuayuan Telecom Building of China TelecomHunan Company had the largest fire which rose to the top of the online search list in China. But the Chinese government reported only the largest fire out of all fires.
Many of these disasters may be the result of tofu-dreg construction or inadequate fire codes in various types of buildings, but some are likely to have reasons behind them that the public is unaware of.
Let's go back seven years to the explosion that many domestic and international media believe was linked to the struggle at the top of the Chinese Communist Party. On August 12th, 2015, there was a huge fire and explosion in Tianjin that shook China.
