Hello, my name is Jason Hao, the president of the Neural Acupuncture Institute. Last night, we had a webinar on acupuncture today. I'm going to talk about neural acupuncture. I think it will be very helpful today. We have some film, short film, to show you some basic techniques. Neural acupuncture is a contemporary acupuncture technique integrating traditional healing methods with vast amounts of neuroanatomy, neurology, and neuroscience. Neural acupuncture has been proven to be a most effective technique for treating central nervous system disorders, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injury, PTSD, fine turn pain, cerebral palsy, and autism. In our practice, neural acupuncture often produces remarkable results with just a few needles. Sometimes it only takes several minutes. Neural acupuncture is a systematic treatment approach for treating neurological diseases. That includes neural acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, and body acupuncture, using vast amounts of knowledge to explain the mechanism and the treatment. Today, I'm going to introduce the scalp acupuncture technique. Scalp acupuncture technique I'm going to introduce is jaw-style scalp acupuncture. Jaw-style scalp acupuncture has 16 to 17 areas in the scalp surface. For example, here it's called motor areas. Motor areas is the projection area on the scalp surface corresponding to the frontal lobe's motor zyrus. The brain has different structures. Each area we call zyrus, and each zyrus has their own functions. For example, this is called motor zyrus. This is called sensory zyrus. And here is called superior temporal zyrus and middle temporal zyrus. When certain areas of the brain are damaged, for example, the motor zyrus is damaged in the upper part here, and the right side of the brain and the left side of the leg is weak and paralyzed. So in the clinic, when there is damage, we can use acupuncture to restore or rewire this part of the brain to return that function. Or we can stimulate other areas of the brain to take over the function here. Acupuncture technique for scalp acupuncture is very unique and special. So the injection, stimulation, and oral manipulation is very, very important to get corrective in order to get good results. For example, when the pupil is paralyzed in the left leg caused by a stroke, we can use this part of the brain, the projection area we call the upper one-fifth motor area, to stimulate this area and release, improve the motor function of the left leg. Needles, we use one-and-a-half inch or one-inch needles. When you insert the needle, the angle of the insertion is very important, usually 15 to 20 degrees. And we use two-hand, three-hand insertion. The tube is not going to work. We have to pay attention to how to train you to use the hand-on acupuncture insertion. So you use this hand to hold needles and this hand to support needles, 15 degrees, and push and rotate to get in. The layer on the scalp during insertion is very, very important. So you have five layers on the scalp, I call it anatomy. The needles we put, you pass the first three layers and insert the fourth layer, are really loose connective tissues. So when you pass it tense, then you get loose and you get the right layer. If you do it well, it should not hurt at all. After your insertion, we need a stimulation. They require 200 times rotate per minute to get good results. So you use index finger and some rotated needles. Just like that. Okay? And back-clogged and counter-clogged wise. So, in our clinic, majority paralyzed people, first three treatments usually show improvement. And many of them better right away. It's not a surprise in our clinic, people paralyzed from the start, they can move the arm, reach out right away, they can get up and walk. Okay? If you want to learn more, please join us.
