Now, the main focus at this location is the pies, but as far as this bakery, I haven't heard too much about this one, so I think this is a hidden gem. We'll start out with this creme paoa. I don't even know if I'm, am I saying that right? Creme paoa? Yes. It's warm. I wonder if it's any sugar in here. This is delicious, though. You know how girls, when they eat, they be dancing? I wanna dance right now, bro. I ain't gonna lie, I feel like dancing. But now, this is fire. I wonder if it's any good cold. I don't even know what this really is. What is it? So, this is seafood. I know some of y'all probably eat the creme by itself. This is fire, wow, you can't go wrong. Now, let's try this boil up pie, bro. So perfect, the crunch, my fingers is flaky. The sauce, the boil, I see the watercress in here. Now, this gonna be the real bite right here. Oh, this is amazing. That boil up pie, perfect. That's top five right there. If you're not from New Zealand, the moment you come to New Zealand, you ask a lot of people, they will recommend you try a pavlova cake right here. So this is, on behalf of New Zealanders, a must-have. I can't vouch for it yet, I haven't tried it. I can give my opinion, but let the people tell it, this right here is a must-have right here. So this is a pavlova cake, it has some kiwi, some strawberry, red and green grapes, and oranges, man. Now I like fruit, so I'm actually excited to try this, but I don't know if this will go good in this way that it's put together, man. So it's definitely not break-easy like cake, it's kinda like, almost styrofoam, that's the best way to explain the texture in the middle. I was assuming it was gonna be terrible, bro, but that grape really just comes in and saves the day. Let me just verify, before we say if it's good or bad, let me verify one more time. It's hard to really get a piece, because it doesn't break away so easy. Now I personally love orange, that's my favorite fruit, I could eat them all day. I would have never thought to do this, this is actually very good, this is a must-have. Yes, indeed, this is a must-have right here. Now we got some kiwi, kiwi, out in kiwiland, beautiful trees behind us, beautiful, beautiful area. So beautiful, look at the green, look at the tree, the roots, the base, the tree trunks, the green, the green, the green, the green. It's right in people's backyard right here, beautiful. Can't get enough of it, man, absolutely amazing. The seeds on here are actually passion fruit seeds, let's try that. Oh, wow, when I first heard of pavlova, I thought it was regular cake with pieces of fruit all throughout the cake. So when you slice it open, in the middle of it, you will see strawberry, grape, watermelon, orange. No, it's just only on top, this is amazing. I give this a five out of five, honestly, this is a must-have right here, take my word for it. We can do that too. New Zealand, they always talk about their fish and chips. Wow, look at that, the fish that came out the skin. This is good, but I wouldn't go out of my way for the fish. The fries are good, it's not that impressive. I don't really see what the hype is about. It's definitely a meal, it's not the best, but it's okay. Next, we're headed to Marae Seafood Boil, let's go. I know this New Zealand doesn't have too many pull-up bars, so since we caught some, before we eat this seafood boil, we're gonna hit some pull-ups, man, let's get it. That thing hot, look at that right there, y'all. Even the flies want some. Corn delicious, so many cornfields in Ohio, man. Oh man, the crab super soft too. Bro, that's so soft, it's like mashed potato. The any break of waves is so easy, man. Man, the crab meat delicious, bro. This is what I'm really excited about, I never had no mussel before. This is a mussel right here. This is really a first time right here. I don't even know what mussels eat in the ocean. What do they eat? What are they on about? What is that right there? You know, that look like when you see bugs get a parasite crawling all out they body, that's what that look like right there. So this look freaky, like this is the first time trying a mussel. Boy, what is that? Is this a bottom feeder? That might be poop. Okay, we'll try it again. I'll pass on the mussel. We tried it though. Potato right here. I want to really emphasize that taste. It's the highlight. And this was only a couple of dollars. And then they also had some Islander donuts. And I asked her what makes an Islander donut an Islander donut. She said it because it has no glaze on it. But there's also donuts with just no glaze. You can get that from Krispy Kreme Dunkin' Donuts. So I think y'all just call them Islander donuts, but they're actually not. Like, they're just a regular donut, bro. Because I remember when I first heard it, I was like, okay, Islander donut. What makes it out? I'm like, we're gonna try Islander donut. But it's just a donut, bro. It's just no glaze. Y'all call it an Islander donut, though. This is the lamb right here. You know, lamb bun and whatnot. This is good all day. This is good any time of the day, any day of the week. Okay, you guys, so we're gonna talk a little bit low because this store, this restaurant is pretty packed right now. So right here we have the lamb shank. This is a must-have in New Zealand right here. A very popular meal. Now this is fresh and steamy. You can tell they just made this and they made this pretty fast as well.
