PutABitOfPaper Productions Medical Student Fund Raiser is up

** Although heads up, this should have been accompanied by two other videos, on respiratory history and chapter 4 of The Lost World, but for some reason, the audio has gone VERY wonky ***

COVID has flipped the world on its head. The final year students at the medical school lost their electives and volunteered to start working on the wards three months early to help out staffing for the pandemic

One thing which we didn’t see coming was that the students have been denied the normal graduation ceremonies, instead “completing” their studies with a Zoom “graduation”. Not quite the same

A few weeks ago, people in the community here made jokes about having PutABitofPaper on mugs etc, and that caused a lightbulb to go off in my head. 💡

This coincided with Dan Harris doing a great caricature for the channel, and the idea to try to raise funds for a send-off later in the year for the students when COVID lockdown is a distant memory was born

Do we created a t-shirt, a mug and a couple of stickers - WITH ALL PROCEEDS GOING TOWARDS THE WMS graduation year 2020 students
