WINTER INSPIRATION | Makeup, Holiday Outfit Ideas & More❄️

hey it's Jackie and welcome back to my channel for today's video it's all about winter inspiration so we got outfits makeup and some activities as well I'm obviously in a different location, I'm up north with the body shop and we have this really fun weekend getaway so I will show you some of the activities we got up to because I feel like it'll get some inspiration for you guys as well and why I'm up here is because we're celebrating at their holiday collections as well as the play for peace project they are donating to children in Syria and it's mainly focused on play therapy so it's a really great cause and I'm so excited to be up in this gorgeous Chalet so I hope you guys enjoy this video and get some inspiration for the holiday season and just winter in general and let's get started with makeup, first product is so exciting I start off almost every video with the benefit Porefessional primer and benefit has come out with this gorgeous a pearl primer check out this girly packaging I'm in love and it's creamy like the original still mattifying with added brightening adding a little lip balm as I do the rest of my makeup and if you haven't seen my review of the gigi hadid and maybelline line it's listed in the eye but this is a tinted primer from the collection that goes under your foundation in areas you like to contour, it's like a liquid bronzer and right in with my usual L'Oreal Lumi foundation mixed with my body shop lightening drops... I usually use too faced born this way concealer but today I went with L'Oreal Lumi highlighting pen for a lighter base blending out adding more of a contour with the deepest shade from the Urban Decay shape-shifting palette subtle nose contour and this product I am so glad I found that this is the essence color correcting powder it looks so pretty in the pan but it's also a great setting powder that still allows for the foundation to be glowy while setting the products my fav hourglass bronzer I know some of these steps are very repetitive but now on to my favorite blush I've said this before but if you're gonna buy one thing from Charlotte Tilbury I say go for the blushes this one is called love is the drug and it has a gorgeous finish and I love how there's two shades within one product finally another Gigi product that is my top pick from the collection the liquid illuminator in iridescent it adds a beautiful pink sheen to the skin, super healthy looking I've got a ton of compliments of wearing this as my highlight and I like to pat it on over top of the powder even for the most impact and brows were using benefit precisely my brow I like to fill into my natural shape every day and comb out and I could have gone a little less bold with the brows but it's all good and this is the cutest palette ever... say hello to the clover palette from Too Faced this has a great variety of shades and let's start with the lightest as a base all over the lid inner corner and brow bone this is pretty frosty and light so I love it for a winter look I also took cuteness overload and blended this on the outer half of the lid onto the inner crease I applied a bit of pawprint on a fluffy brush and on the outer corner and slightly into a V, cuddle buddy, these steps are pretty frequent in my own makeup looks because it's how I like to define my eye shape but now let's have fun with the bright colors in this palette with a bit of Mac fix plus on an angled brush apply spoiled in the inner corner and upper lash line as well as your lower lash line for a more frosty look apply a puppy eyes over top of the blue fade too faced mascot a beautiful bright purple from the blue to the outer corner of the eye we have that winged out shape I'm touching up the outer view with a bit more depth and back with the Gigi collection I didn't show this in my last review but this liner is super easy to use as well this was already a Maybelline product and I just have it in the Gigi packaging create a wing from the outer portion of the eye and don't go right into the inner corner because this will cover up too much of the color that we did with the shadows I think the colors are quite pearly and young-looking so to mature the look I am adding more of a smolder to the eye with The Body Shop Kajal liner in the inner and outer corner, add mascara and for lips I love this next product this is the l'oreal metallic lip paint i think this color combo fits the look perfect i love the applicator it's really plush and the color payoff is gorgeous to complete the look I'm wearing my all-time favorite lashes the benefit pin of lashes and these ones are really full but they're in a brown shape so they're not too glam and really complete the look if you love lashes and I never use any other glue other than duo blue until now the benefit lash glue is the bomb it's my new fave and the packaging is so nice if you're in Canada I'm the covergirl for benefits of winter wonder glam and Shoppers Drug Mart so you can find the lashes and the glue right there right under my face I have a vlog of the display if you want to check that out on my vlog channel and be sure to enter the benefit giveaway in that vlog too hair I almost always have in loose curls and here's my first winter outfit this is more for mild winter so when it's not too too cold and I got this sweater from H&M they have some really cute sweaters right now and I'm wearing this beanie from Topshop jacket from Lulu's I've always been a sucker for brown faux leather jackets and this one has a really nice a tailored fit over my bulky sweater to slim it down and then matching mitts are from Roots dark wash jeans and over the knee boots also from Lulu's to create a low-key but flattering winter look, now for some winter inspiration... I'm a summer girl I love the sun and I tend not to do as much in the winter but The Body Shop sent me on a holiday retreat to Collingwood in Ontario Canada - if you guys live near the area definitely go and have it get away it's so much fun but even if you can't go to a ski village you can always have a night in with your girls and do a DIY spa day light some candles and get some magazines and pull over the polish and face invite some friends over and each bring a different appetizer or snack for a holiday potluck get matching onesies DIY snores watch holiday movies comment your favorite down below mine actually is the Grinch!
