If you have plans to visit Florida this year or sometime in the future and are looking for a fun place to visit in Orlando that is not one of the theme parks, I would like to suggest a visit to Dezerland Park - this is an entertainment center that includes the Orlando Auto Museum - a fun place for the entire family! Everything is located inside an old mall which has been re-established into Dezerland Park - the entertainment areas include a go-kart track for both beginners and more advanced, a bowling alley, an arcade which includes vintage arcade games, glo golf, ax throwing, and a Cinemark Theater! There is also a James Bond museum and restaurant and, of course, a gift shop! If none of these interest you, and you are more of a car person, then the Orlando Auto Museum is a must visit! There is an admission fee to the museum but definitely worth it - the number of cars, as well as other types of transportation, is over 2,000 - there are cars from previous generations - cars from countries from around the world - cars from TV shows including Miami Vice, Starsky and Hutch, and the Munsters - cars from movies including James Bond, The Terminator, Grease, and Back to the Future - cars manufactured by several car makers - motorcycles and last but not least Vespa’s!
