And feel ready, the players ready, are you ready? Will Spurs beat Wembley come full-time?
Salah, Nunez, some touch, Soboslai, Salah with a drive and the deflection takes it kindly
into the gloves of Kinski. Gakpo, it's John Welcote, Gakpo to work something into the area
and the header from Darwin Nunez is on target, yet to be tested in any meaningful way, Tony Kinski.
There's Liverpool winning back, Gravenberg, Salah, Soboslai, scores but the flag has gone up.
The Hungarian, yeah yard in that but clearly offside here, Dominic Soboslai, Soboslai,
Robertson, hangs it up, Salah is around the back, I'm not entirely sure what he was trying
to improvise there, Richarlison pounced upon that really well, Basuma gives it away behind Sarr,
now Salah set away. Gakpo, Liverpool equalise and just like that,
Cody Gakpo with his fifth goal of this Carabao Cup campaign.
Well it was this loose pass from Basuma that was then pounced upon, what is always the case for
Mo Salah, even if he's not touching the ball a great deal, it looks such an innocuous situation.
Jed Spence looks to do everything right but he's end product at the end of the day, Salah.
Liverpool play on as well, no obligation to put the ball out, Gakpo away from Gray,
Salah, oh what a save by Kinski, that is brilliant. Gakpo trying to return the favour
to the Egyptian for the opening goal, into the ground and Kinski read the bounce.
Seconds of the first half, Bradley in a good area and the final touch was actually against him and
it's the final touch of the first half, the first half within which Cody Gakpo has fired Liverpool
ahead on the night. Nothing in it now, dead level 1-1 on aggregate but Liverpool had the majority
of the ball, had nearly all of the chances in that first half and you'd be surprised if they didn't
at least attempt to continue their onslaught. A goal scorer Gakpo finds Nunez, pops over the top
for Mo Salah, who gets his yard and Kinski was scrambling across the face of goal
within 35 seconds of the restart. Liverpool shooting down at the Kop end, nearly find a
way through and it's flicked on by Soboslai and Kinski does well, he was under immense pressure.
A busy start to the half for Tony Kinski, managed to just push it away from Cody Gakpo,
well directed goalwards by Soboslai and Salah. Nunez is free in the middle,
will he get there to Kinski? He does and penalties given. Kinski flying off his
line trying to shut it down, buried one low to the goalkeepers left in Liverpool's weekend win
over Bournemouth in the Premier League and Salah goes the other way this time, firing high and
Liverpool into a 2-1 aggregate lead. Well it was his pass in essence that won the penalty
and he could not have finished that much better, even had Tony Kinski gone the right way
he would not have stopped that. Six points of the game in hand, finished top of the Champions
League table too before the round of 16. They come forward again, Gakpo hangs it up,
Soboslai's head up, Liverpool could have been more threatening here, Spurs look stretched.
Bradley around Benton Court and Darwin Nunez, he's just trying to guide that into the near post.
Ball by Kelleher, Spurs knew the magnitude of the task put in front of them tonight. Jones, Gakpo,
it's nearly 3-0 on the night. Jones with an excellent pass and Cody Gakpo has actually
hit the frame of the goal with that one. Poro scooped forward, Spence gallops into open ground
here. Kunasiewski on the edge, tell in the box, Spence! That's the best attempt the Spurs have had.
I wonder if anyone this calendar year has been playing better than Jed Spence in a Spurs shirt.
Great work again, this is all of his own making here, squares up to Robertson. Spurs are short
of the back here, Gravenberch, Gakpo, Liverpool lose their momentum. Gravenberch bends it
and for a third time they strike the frame of the goal. Well in his new deeper role,
Ryan Gravenberch hasn't scored this season. Robertson wins it back, McAllister
and these are the fresh legs that Liverpool have now. Bradley, Soboszlaj, Liverpool do get their
third goal. The fresh legs of McAllister just breaking through midfield but the first time
pass from Bradley was irresistible for Soboszlaj. Tell, that's an excellent ball for Son,
flag stays down. Kunasiewski with him, Hermin Son away from Canate
and absolutely thumps it against the bar. This is the quality of Hermin Son,
barely a chance, he makes something of it and nearly gets Spurs back into the tie.
McAllister, Van Dijk, last season's match winner in the final has surely now put Liverpool into
the final again. McAllister's delivery has had a real impact off the bench and Van Dijk managed
to get across those defenders near the penalty spot. Canate tangled up Dan Soap and Van Dijk was
3-4-1 on aggregate. Robertson and Soboszlaj over the ball here for Liverpool. Bentin,
Jota unmarked but unable to score. Spence, Spence keeps going, Son curls it,
wasn't far away from looping it under. The Carabao Cup run comes to an end,
Liverpool are headed for Wembley after their victory tonight.
