My name is Yosuke Ominato and I am the CEO of Ominato Bunkichi Shoten Co., Ltd.
I don't want to be a factory, but I want to be a factory.
I want to be a craftsman, not a craftsman.
I have been a craftsman since I was a child, so this is my third business.
I grew up in a world of craftsmen.
I'm not a craftsman.
My father is a carpenter and my grandfather is a salesman.
So my family doesn't make things.
I'm the CEO of Ominato Bunkichi Shoten Co., Ltd.
I provide a place for craftsmen to work and make things.
I have been in the construction industry since I started my current job.
I'm an architect, so I'm an architect.
I didn't think about building a bamboo house.
I thought I could use some old technology.
That's how I started.
I've been doing this for the past three years.
I lost my job because of COVID-19.
I only had a free vacation.
While I was taking a break from work,
I created a women's brand called FANNY WORKS.
Now I'm an interior designer.
Our factory's concept is to use traditional technology
to make what customers want and what they can use.
We want to preserve the traditional craftsmanship
and the knowledge of our predecessors in Japan.
We don't want to leave something from the past.
I don't think so.
Our factory is not perfect.
It's just a factory where people can work.
I'm not an artist.
I'm not an architect.
