Agarwood is the resinous heartwood from Aquilaria trees. The trees occasionally become infected with mold and begin to produce an aromatic resin in response to the attack. Agarwood can be used as incense or spice in wine, it also has a Chinese medical function. As a sculpture, it has unique shape which provides a special platform for the artist to show off the craftsmanship.
