Monetization Comparison Among Ganjing World, X/Twitter, and YouTube – My Real Data

Finally, let me share a dramatic personal story from yesterday and compare the incomes I earn from different platforms. I woke up to a notification from YouTube saying my English channel's monetization was disabled. For any video creator, that's like a vote from the blue. I posted about it on X and it sparked a lot of discussion with people giving me advice. Then in the afternoon, I got notification from Ganjing World both in Chinese and English saying I had received payments. I was a bit shocked because I had just been notified by Ganjing World that I could apply for monetization not long ago. Although I applied, I didn't have high hopes since Ganjing World is a relatively new platform, with my English channel having only 890 followers and my Chinese channel 1,426. My YouTube English channel has over 64,000 subscribers, and the Chinese channel has over 4,100. So what about the earnings? Last month, my YouTube English channel made about $20, and the Chinese channel around $5. But on Ganjing World, look, my English channel made $56, and my Chinese channel nearly $62. So even though I have fewer followers on Ganjing World, my earnings there are much higher, several to a dozen times more than YouTube. Now let's compare with my earnings on X. My English account has over 250,000 followers, but my earnings are only about 20 to 40 per payment cycle, so monthly it's about $40 to $80. Therefore, Ganjing World has been the most friendly platform for creators like me, even though it's new and has fewer viewers, my earnings are better than both YouTube and X.
