Little they're off for this novice championship hurdle series over the extended two miles here on the near side peacenik On the inside of the course I should say from what you're looking at the stands Slight error there by what you want to do is at the first and the yellow jacket peacenik ears prick jumping that first flight of eight Leading then tractor jack on the outside of crest of fortune in the pink cap Devon blue next and cap there in the ronnie bartlett blue and white diamonds red cap what you want to do is and then At the back of the field is eric gorkom who's in the green and yellow chevrons ahead there of the gray winneretta This race in which three of them dominate the market and the others are all Huge prices they're moving down the hill Peace nick trying to build on the back of that newberry debut. It was a good run in good company And he's only third favorite here. Interestingly enough tractor jack on his outside the favorite crest of fortune who's got a Decent rating already is racing in third place the course and distance winner from last month cap there He's just keeping an eye on him in fourth red cap Devon blue next on the inside of eric gorkom what you want to do is in the yellow winneretta at the back So turning away down the far side now And the field becoming a bit more strung out already With peace nick making it shane quinlan Looking for his second winner of the afternoon shane wrote a winner for sam thomas earlier today this one for the katie prize team and Leading them down the hill By about just a length and a half or so Crest of fortune and tractor jack brendan powell and the black sleeves and cap And then cap there and mehaw nolan Devon blue on the inside in the blue Eric gorkom what you want to do is Well, she's been kept wide by nick scofield as they come up towards the second. It's been a long time since they left the ground As it usually is here at exeter Peace nick jump the second well, and they move swiftly on to the third Tractor jack in closer tenants with crest of fortune Oh, not a good jump that by peace nick rather. Guess he had it and jumped it out to the left Just a novice type of jump really But still has the lead Crest of fortune on the inside of the course and the pink cap is into second Cap there is moving up into third traveling. Well, this is the fourth flight On he is now as well. He's leading by five From crest of fortune he's just trying to close up a bit now then a gap of three further back then to cap there tractor jack and what you want to do is Of the remainers disputing fourth place last flight on the back straight is number five four out here Peace nick over in front by four lengths then crest of fortune and cap there racing a neck apart in second and third maybe a bit more than that now actually as they emerge from the Angle which brings them up towards the home straight But they've drawn a long way clear of what you want to do is who's moving to clear fourth place So as they come round towards the turn into the home straight three flights to take peace nick He's just looked over his shoulder there. Shane. He's going pretty well in front In second and crest of fortune is just being bumped along now by rex dingle on the outside cap There is getting right there with me hall. Nolan. He looks fairly confident. This could be a good finish And they're coming down towards the third last now And again, peace nick not at his best there darting off to the left when jumping it And now the two favorites are under pressure behind peace Nick who's galloping on strongly can they close crest of fortune is trying with cap there his two out peace nick running down the flight Again, that's costing him ground because crest of fortune is coming through and he's just about put his head in front Peace nick still there with every chance as they move down to the final flight cap There is held surely in third peace nick up and over it together with crest of fortune as they settle down Peace nick and crest of fortune. There isn't much to choose between them at all crest of fortune Just digging in deep peace. Nick trying to find a bit more. He's showing an experience Maybe peace nick and crest of fortune getting a right old cheer from the crowd peace Nick has beaten crest of fortune double for shane quinlan on new year's day Cap there back in third
