Jim Beckler here with the RV Corral in Eugene, Oregon.
Hey, I'd like to thank you for visiting our website.
I'll take a few minutes to show you a brand new motorhome we just got here on the lot.
It's a 2019 Tiffin.
This is an open road red, rear engine diesel coach.
The model is a 33 AA.
Really nice floor plan.
If you're looking for a motorhome that's maybe a little on the shorter side,
you want a little bit less of a footprint, this could be a great unit for you.
Quality throughout, Tiffin is one of the best manufacturers out there.
They've got three of the top selling diesel motorhomes are all Tiffin products.
So it speaks a lot about their quality and reliability.
They have an awesome reputation for customer service.
So lots of good reasons that you'd want to buy a Tiffin motorhome.
And, of course, we like to think that the RV Corrals are a good place to do business.
So if you have questions throughout this video, I might miss something, give me a call.
You can reach me at 541-510-1017.
So feel free to call my cell phone and let me know if you had something that I missed.
Obviously, I'm not going to be able to touch on everything, but try to do some highlights here.
You know, for one, Tiffin has a state-of-the-art paint facility
where they fashion their paint shop after Mercedes Benz of North America.
It's a downdraft system, so when they're spraying, everything gets pulled down and off into a tunnel.
So the advantage of that for you is you get a cleaner paint process, that's the bottom line.
Not a lot of particulates flying around.
You know, the draft systems that pull everything up above, everything's moving up.
This way, everything's going down.
You're less likely to get, you know, not as good a finish on your coach.
So nice finish.
This has the nice diamond shield on the front, too, to help protect against rock chips.
Very high-quality paint.
At least two coats of clear coat on this as well as several coats of paint.
You can see it looks really nice.
So we kind of walk around the coach.
You can see this is a four-slideout unit that's built on a Freightliner chassis.
Notice you've got your hydraulics up front here along with your propane tank.
Here's one of your main storage compartments.
Got your extra chairs in there and your central back.
It's got a central back system also.
Some things on the other side that we'll see.
If you can get down here in just a second, Curtis, I want to point out, too, this is on a raised-rail chassis.
So the advantage with this is you're going to have additional storage height.
And also I think it's important to note that you don't have the floor sitting right on your frame rails.
So the nice thing about that is you don't feel the vibration when you're going down the road.
So when you're driving this coach, everything isn't shaking inside of the motorhome because that floor is sitting right on the frame rail.
So a little better overall quieter ride and better handling than just a nice driving motorhome is the bottom line.
You'll really like the way this drives.
Outside TV on the main slideout here.
So if you want to sit out and enjoy the evening, maybe watch a movie or you're tailgating,
you want to check out the game without having to go inside.
Nice electric awning on the slideout.
Notice it's mounted right on the outside of the slide, so that gives you the full advantage of the awning when it's out.
That's LED lighting on the outside.
Everything's LED lights now.
Your chassis batteries are back here with the cutoff switch.
So when you're storing your coach, you can just switch that over to off and it won't draw off your batteries.
A couple other compartments back here.
A little bit of storage and some of the electrical access panels.
Hot water heaters right there.
Beautiful, beautiful coach.
I love the colors on this.
One piece fiberglass roof on this motorhome.
The advantage of that is fiberglass is going to be a lot tougher to poke a hole in than a rubber roof or a vinyl roof.
Plus, when they design these roofs, before they drop them on the coach, they're actually already crowned.
So if you can see on the side up towards the top, the roof actually makes the turn, comes down towards the sidewall.
So it takes a lot of the stress off.
Rather than try to force the fiberglass to meet the sidewall, it's already fashioned that way.
And they actually put thicker fiberglass in that place where it's going to be making that turn.
So you have less problems with stress cracks and that type of thing.
So we're really a well-built motorhome.
It's already set up to tow.
Got a 10,000-pound hitch on it.
Notice how the doors swing out.
They swing out like car doors.
So you swing out very easily.
Insulated inside each of these door skins has insulation in between.
There's a full foam block insulation in between these two panels.
Tiffin makes their own door panels, too.
These cargo doors are made in-house.
In fact, they do a lot of their own manufacturing themselves.
They're a true manufacturer.
They don't just buy parts from somebody and put them together.
They're going to be making most of what they do at their own plant.
So the advantage of that is you have more consistent quality.
If you need parts, you can get parts because they made it.
They're not relying on some company that went out of business recently because they couldn't make it.
And you can't get parts anymore.
So lots of good reasons, again, why you'd want to buy a Tiffin motorhome.
And they go back to 1972 when this company was founded by Bob Tiffin.
They're still doing the same thing they've been doing the whole time they've been building motorhomes.
And they just keep improving on the process.
But customer service is very high on their priority list.
Notice your 50-amp service.
Your power cord's right in here.
It also has a hardwired surge protector.
So if you do camp somewhere where maybe you get a power surge, your appliances are going to be protected.
Sound like a car door doesn't like a Mercedes.
Here's your wet bay.
Very simple, easy to use, but functional.
I like the fact they've got your water pump right out here in front.
Easy to get to if you need to replace it or service it.
Full house water filter right here, so all your water coming in, fresh water is going to be filtered.
And your dump station right here even has a little soap dispenser and a little place where you can put paper towels.
Here's the other side of that storage compartment that we look at.
They give you a few extra tiles.
It's got some hoses, sewer hose.
There's your central vac.
And your inverter's right in here too, so nicely done.
A good use of the space.
And you do have a shutoff here also for your house batteries and for your inverter.
So you can shut those down when you're not using the coach.
Just a good way to eliminate draw on your coach when you're not in use.
Slide out tray for your batteries.
You've got house batteries here.
These are going to give you plenty of battery power.
You've got four house batteries that slide out on a tray.
Nice 22 inch tires.
You've got good contact with the ground.
They put alloy wheels on these also.
Lots of upgrades all the way around on the tip and motorhomes.
I can access my generator that's up front from right here.
So you can see it's generator's right up front.
This is a...
Yeah, it's got an 8,000 watt Onan diesel generator in it.
So you've got plenty of power for dry camping.
Let's take a look inside.
Again, before we go in, 541-510-1017.
So give me a call if you have questions.
Cockpit is very user friendly.
As I mentioned before, this is a really nice driving motorhome.
This gives you a good balance between drivability and livability.
So it's a quad slide coach.
And we'll see as we go through the motorhome, it's got good livable floor plans.
So if you're out for any extended traveling, you're going to be comfortable.
And yet, you do have a little shorter motorhome that you could maybe get into those spots
that you can't get the larger motorhomes in.
Your panel is right here for your leveling.
So you've got an auto level system, 6-speed Allison transmission.
This one is equipped with an exhaust brake also to help.
If you're going down a steep grade, you can put that exhaust brake on
to help keep you from having to ride your brakes.
Everything is out in front, easy to access.
It does have tilt and telescoping wheel.
Also equipped with one side of that is your backup monitor and side view cameras.
It's got cameras for the side view and also for your rear view camera.
And then also they have the radio and all that system right there in front too.
There's TV up front.
They do make their own cabinets in-house.
So they have their own cabinet shop.
Here's for your inverter, this panel to access that.
Tons of storage.
In fact, I was impressed when I went down to the factory in Red Bay.
These are made off the beaten path, by the way.
If you didn't already know that, you probably already know that.
So you're looking at this because you already know about Tiffin.
But yeah, they're in Red Bay, Alabama.
So that's one of the reasons why they are vertically integrated.
They're not close to all the other manufacturers.
They don't have a lot of vendors right close by other than the ones that they supply.
So their cabinet shop, everything is done in-house.
When I went through there, they showed me that we saw some really high-end lathe machines.
They put a lot of money into their machinery.
Bob, as far as I know, he doesn't have a corporate jet.
That's not where they focus their money on.
They put their money in their company and the service and the quality.
That's why these are so value priced.
When you put this against everything else on the market, it's a very good value.
You get good quality for a good price.
They even make their own windows.
They have their own window manufacturer.
But notice the nice upgrades on your balances.
There's wood on your balances.
Even has beautiful wood inlay up here on the ceiling with lighting, all LED lighting.
Notice this has a great air conditioning system.
It has dual air on it, and they also have heat pumps in the air conditioning.
But notice the amount of ducts you have in the ceiling for your air conditioner.
They call this their Extraordinaire.
So you have air that's coming out on one side, and then it's going back up on the other.
So you have a continuous flow of air conditioning that's blowing one way and coming back another.
So it's very consistent.
And one side's filtered, the other side is not, so it's very quiet.
That's kind of the bottom line.
It's a real quiet and efficient air conditioning system.
Notice the nice side over here where your slide goes out.
You've got a nice big sofa with a sleeper and your own little recliner.
I was going to mention, too, on the wood shop, they were saying that, you know,
if they decided to go out of business and quit building motorhomes, which they're not,
but the point being they said they could start building furniture if they wanted to.
They were that dialed in with their cabinet shop.
They do a great job.
It's the bottom line.
Nice TV back here also and a fireplace that's electric.
So this is a furnace also.
This works as a heater, so you can not only have the ambiance of a fire,
but also it's going to put out some heat, which would really,
this will generate enough heat to keep this area in here nice and toasty.
On our passenger side, you've got a nice big slide out over here for the kitchen area.
You've got a dinette that doubles as a workstation,
and you have the other two chairs that we noticed that were downstairs.
But over here I've got a pull-out tray that I can use if I'm going to be working.
I can put my laptop up there or a keyboard.
Also does the same down here.
This pulls out.
I've got power underneath there, so I can plug in if I have an accessory.
I want to put a printer down here, whatever the case may be.
So if you do maybe like to have the ability to do a little work
or just work on your computer even just for the fun of it,
you've got that.
This is a good setup for that.
Nice pull-out drawers.
This one I believe is a file cabinet.
So you've got a drawer there where you can put files in.
Nice solid surface countertops.
Double stainless steel sinks.
Very residential, just like at home.
Nice pull-out on your faucet.
This is something new that they've added this year, the window here in the galley.
So it lets in a lot of natural light.
It does have a screen that will drop down.
I'm going to just push the button over here.
It's going to drop down.
I don't have power right now.
I'm not plugged in, but you get the idea.
Here's your garbage can, easy to access.
It also has a little spot down here where I can put my sink covers
or my covers for my stove.
Look at that.
Nice, newer style stovetop.
Three burner.
Beautiful.
For those of you who like to cook in your coach, it has a really nice
How about that?
Should have been a receiver.
Convection microwave.
Lost my train of thought there for a second.
So I've got a nice convection microwave.
Again, makes it nice for cooking.
Really nice drawers.
They use metal glides, too, so you can put some weight in these.
You can pull them out a long ways, and they've got good support because of
those heavy-duty glides that they use.
They've got plenty of storage in the kitchen area, too.
You can add a lot up here, and these are adjustable, too,
so you can adjust that to your personal liking.
We didn't really look in here, but, yeah, lots of overhead.
See how it goes all the way back?
Some of them that you'll find, some coaches, you know,
they don't really go very deep or their openings aren't very tall this way.
These have really good storage compartments.
As I mentioned earlier, you know, this is a good coach that you can take out
for an extended trip, have enough storage and room to be comfortable in it.
Even has a residential refrigerator.
Really nice.
Looks like it's a whirlpool.
Bottom freezer on this one with ice down below.
This is very efficient, by the way.
Nice pull-out pantry with, again, adjustable shelves.
Got one up above and down below.
Great place to store your pantry items.
This has your bathroom.
It's an all-private bath, so you have your shower, your toilet,
and your sink all in one spot.
Nice stand-up corner shower.
They put a fantastic fan vent in there, too,
so you got a nice high-powered fan going up in here.
This also I can get up in here.
I'll show you.
This is nice, too, because I can get some light in here if I wanted.
If I don't, I can shut that off.
On a day like today where we're going to be probably close to 100 degrees,
it's a good idea probably to keep that shut.
Another little storage compartment.
A little smaller, but utilizing the space anyway,
so you got things I'm sure you can put in there.
Also has a panel here that I can use.
Again, I don't have power right now.
I'd like to be able to demonstrate that.
Basically what this will do is allow me to operate most all the components in this coach.
I can go to this and turn on the lights.
I can operate the slide, my rear slides.
The front slides are operated up on the front seats.
I can start my generator, air conditioning, pretty much everything.
All can be done right here in one central area.
It makes it very convenient.
I do have a nice sliding door here to get into the bedroom so I can get privacy here.
If you do have guests, they can get to the bathroom, and you've got your privacy back here.
Great bedroom area.
Again, look at the storage you have up on top.
Nice deep cabinets.
They even put a—I think that's new.
I don't remember seeing the 110 outlets.
I'm pretty sure, and this is speculation, but I bet I'm right on this.
They probably put that in there for the people that have CPAP machines
because that's something that's pretty common now.
You need to have a place to be able to plug it in, and you can set your machine up here
and run your apparatus down below here because this is a king-size bed.
You don't have a lot of room on the side compartments.
You do have a 110 outlet right here also, but that makes sense
because they really listen to what people say about their products.
They're good about zoning in on the things that people say they like about their coaches
and the things that they don't like.
They'll make changes appropriately.
They're not afraid to make some changes because they hear what people are—the kind of feedback that they're getting.
Nice storage down below also.
Yeah, nice king-size bed.
It feels like a memory foam, so it's a nice upgraded mattress.
Very large closet.
Got a nice closet space here.
You got lighting back in here also.
Plenty of space to put your stuff.
This one is equipped with a washer and dryer, so you got a stack washer and dryer on board already.
You don't have to go to the laundromat unless you want to.
You could use that for storage if you prefer to do that.
Again, nice bedroom TV back here.
I think they use all LG TVs.
They do a little research.
They try to figure out which manufacturer has the least amount of claims against their products,
and that's generally who they'll go with.
They don't just buy bulk from whoever gives them the cheapest bid.
Bob Tiffin's philosophy is if I'm going to stand behind it and build it, I want to make sure that it's done right.
So, good philosophy.
It's paid off for them.
Again, that's why they have three of the top five selling motorhomes in the diesel line is because they do it right.
Good value, a lot of quality for the money.
Your setup is all right here for your entertainment.
Also comes with a dish network receiver.
If you're a DirecTV person, it can be changed out.
You don't have to go with this.
This is the manufacturer that they decided to go with.
Most of your coachbuilders probably don't even put a satellite receiver in there.
They do with Tiffin.
It has, again, a nice LG DVD player.
Great sound system.
The audio and video is phenomenal on these coaches.
Again, lots of drawers.
It even has a little spot here for laundry.
All ready to go.
Just need somebody to get behind the wheel and start looking for some adventure, right?
That could be you.
Please give me a call.
If you have questions, feel free to call my cell phone.
