Life is short. Knowing how to spend the time and how to dwell in situations is so important for
making sure that we're sustainable. And if we don't master this skill, we're going to miss
probably some of the most beautiful moments in our life. My name is Saurabh. I make videos about
emotional intelligence and spirituality leadership every day. Today I'm going to talk a little bit
how to know when to dwell in life. Like what it is that constitutes a moment worth dwelling in.
And I think a lot of people necessarily by trying to find discipline in our lives,
we get to a point where it's hard for us to know when to turn that switch off
and which situations actually are worth our time and attention. As we continue to become
more disciplined, it seems evident that we have to give up more of those times.
But in the beginning, like say you're in college or say you're in your early 20s or you don't
really have kids yet, right? There's an amount of time that's afforded by not taking on those
responsibilities. And so, you know, I kind of have the philosophy of every day is a lifetime.
And there's a little bit of work that should be done every day, in my opinion,
especially when that off switch has been broken for a number of months. It's going to be hard
to actually go forth and do that work or not do that work and just sit around,
chill. It just won't feel nearly as good. So doing a little bit of work
and then being able to dwell and hang out with your family or watch some movies or whatever.
I think it's important, you know, or if you have been working extra hard and there's some sort of
spa resort or some sort of vacation that you're going on to actually plan accordingly,
to actually have chill days and not have to travel all that much.
You know, it's a self-love thing. It's something that we need to
factor into our lives as we get busier. And it's something that I've been thinking about a lot
going into this new year is how, what things do I prioritize in terms of enjoying my life?
And for me, it comes down to music and artwork as much as it does actually enjoying
the pursuit of work and building. So I know that I can get that basically every day.
