SMOOTHEST Bowling Swings in PBA History Part 4

Is there anything better than watching a bowler with an incredibly smooth swing?
If you've been following my channel recently you would have probably come across some other videos
where I look at PBA bowlers that I think have the smoothest swings. In fact this is now part four,
not including the two-handed edition video I did and I've received so many suggestions for
other players to include and there are still some more players that I feel really deserve to be a
part of this video series. Therefore I decided to make one more part of this series. As I mentioned
there were so many suggestions in the comments on these videos so thank you all very much for your
input. So we have five more bowlers that I've chosen for today's video so let's jump straight
into it and start with number one AJ Johnson. Johnson gets us started he's in the channel it's
something Randy we expected to happen tonight on the cheetah pattern that's better it happened
twice last year he's back into the channel again of tonight's finalists including what we just saw
let's get the spare with all 10 back there Kevin Williams Kyle Sherman ball on both lanes
it's in again that's three
so again goes for the spare it does get it that's the good news although AJ Johnson has still not
won a PBA title on US soil having only won a title at the Lucky Larson Masters in Sweden
there's no doubt he has one of the smoothest deliveries in the game he really snaps through
at his release but the swing itself is incredibly smooth AJ does keep making telecasts so I'm sure
another title will come along before too long but his most memorable moment probably in recent years
was throwing three gutter balls in the same game but still managing to win the match. Number two
Chris Barnes
pulled in through two I'll tell you that yeah we talked about Chris Barnes trying to win the triple
crown in the open I think it's only fair to mention the other players I'll do that right
after we talk about Chris's arsenal. Seven, Weebles. Third strike for Barnes who admitted to us Randy
the high rev rate guys on today's show are going to make the lanes different today than they were
on the throat a man that doesn't need any introduction quite simply he's one of the
best to ever pick up a bowling ball and I think from a technical perspective he has the best
physical game we've ever seen everything about his approach is just perfect to me and not only that
he manages to repeat it time and time again it's just a testament to how much work he has put into
his physical game over the years and his timing in particular is second to none a huge part of
his successful physical game as well is his swing again it's just crafted to perfection
remains smooth but still allows him to generate the power he needs. Number three Anthony Pepe
on the left lane behind Angelo. Anthony Pepe's got just a great game he reminds me
a lot of the old Dave Davis in that classic style and form just Dave Davis with a lot more power
at the price look at that form beautiful shot right down the target line just a little outside
first arrow for Pepe and an opening double
and Randy goes perfect in game two of the round of 24
look at that just slaughtered the pins what a great shot that was the show and he says he is
quite jittery but he's taking deep breaths and he's taking one frame at a time until he makes
that final that anybody watching the show right now would think that Anthony Pepe is actually an
old pro at this because right now he just threw for his sixth straight strike. Anthony Pepe's
career was incredibly short-lived as he only played for four seasons on the PBA during which
he picked up one title and it's a great shame his PBA tenure was so short because his approach
was a joy to watch. I think he has one of the smoothest swings I've ever seen and Randy Peterson
compared him to Dave Davis who by the way was featured in part two and he's right their swings
aren't very similar. During the telecast he won his title he also bowled a very unusual 295 game
and I actually did a video breaking this game down in detail so make sure to check that out
by clicking the link above. Number four Richie Tease. Now let's see how Tease does
okay nerves are over that's what you think reaction
and Tease gets a kick on the 10. The family name which is just a coincidence
no biscuit it is that biscuit oh lord that is just an awful break
Tease. Our next entry on today's list is England's Richie Tease. His lone PBA title came in 2017 at
the shark championship but he has made telecasts since and probably one of his best runs after his
title was at the 2024 USBC masters where he finished in fifth. His swing is extremely smooth
and his follow-through just like we saw with Anthony Pepe is excellent too. Number five Brad Angelo
three in a row for Angelo and both men here's Angelo bottom of the sixth no chance no chance
what well no chance to hit the right side of the head pin but a strike to strike baby yeah and you
you're bowling a guy like Chris Barnes man you throw a Brooklyn at him and then you raise your
arms you know that all that all that does is like it's like throwing gasoline on a fire
Angelo looking for strike number five and gets it three strikes in a row for Angelo
that wasn't a Brooklyn shot there
now now now now boys I have to admit that I did initially forget about Brad Angelo when I was
making a short list of players for this video series but he did come into my mind and when
re-watching some of his performances on TV I realized that his swing is actually super smooth
apart from his very efficient delivery I loved his intensity on the lanes and he always brought
such fire and passion to the telecasts he might have ended up with just two PBA titles but Angelo
was one of the more underrated PBA players throughout the 2000s and there we have it
those were five more PBA players that I felt had the smoothest swings and as I mentioned earlier
love to hear all of your suggestions for players that you would include in this video so let me
your thoughts in the comment section below and as always thank you very much for watching and
