SMOOTHEST Bowling Swings in PBA History Part 2

I recently did a video where I looked at bowlers that I think have the smoothest swings.
These type of bowlers can make the game look effortless and despite being smooth
they can often still generate a great deal of power and revs.
There were many comments on my first video with your suggestions and there were some
really good bowlers that definitely should have been included.
I always intended to make multiple parts to this video as there are so many PBA bowlers
over the years that have had incredibly smooth styles.
So I've taken a look through all of your suggestions
and tried to include those bowlers who were suggested multiple times.
But if your selection hasn't been included then don't worry because it's extremely likely
I will make a part three as there are more bowlers I would like to feature in this series.
There are five more bowlers that I've chosen for today's video
so let's jump straight into it and start with number one David Ozio.
David Ozio picking up where he left off last week.
He seems to draw energy from these arena crowds as we see.
He got beat by Brian Voss.
David Ozio did 257 to 200 in match play.
Threw a good shot but it just snapped a hair on the back end leaving that forepin.
Trying to get back on track.
David Ozio made the game look easy with his style.
His swing is so efficient it really looks effortless
and his finish at the line is pretty much textbook.
He had 11 wins throughout his career including a major the tournament of champions.
He was an easy pick for this list and is someone that was mentioned
many times in the comment section of my previous video.
Number two Parker Bone III.
At a tournament that bared his name.
Much more confident on the left-hand lane.
It's kind of interesting you know he chose to finish on the right-hand lane.
Look at the confident strokes.
Gets the ball out throws the ball around the 14 board out to seven.
Bringing it back into the pocket.
High flush.
Bowler's friend.
Be aggressive.
Make sure he makes a good shot.
Builds momentum for the next man.
With 35 titles to his name Parker Bone III has done it all.
He had an incredibly long and successful career
and a big part of that was his timeless style which was silky smooth.
He has one of the all-time greatest swings in my opinion.
And was always a joy to watch on tv.
Aside from Earl Anthony he's arguably the greatest left-hander of all time.
Number three Francois Lavoie.
Could be a false swing on CBS Sports Network.
This for a perfect eight in a row.
Oh yes.
Eight straight.
Keeping it calm.
Number nine.
Gotta hurry.
For 11.
On 11 straight.
What do you say?
For a piece of history young man.
$10,000 bonus.
Francois Lavoie has performed exceptionally well at the majors.
Winning three majors out of his six PBA titles.
Most notably he bowled a televised 300 game in the semi-final of the 2016 US Open.
This was just the sixth televised perfect game in a major tournament.
And the first ever in the US Open finals.
He also bowled the PBA's 29th televised 300 game in the round of 16 at the 2020 PBA Tour Playoffs.
And this meant he was the second bowler in PBA history to bowl two televised
300 games in a PBA event.
And the first one was Sean Rash.
It has now been three years since he won his last title at the 2021 Tournament of Champions.
However who knows perhaps 2025 will be the year that we start to see
a lot more of his very smooth style back on TV.
Number four.
Mitch Houppe.
He's had a whole lot of that this week.
Mitch.
He'll help the lane develop just even though even slightly.
That's right.
We've had everything.
These entire championships.
It's been a great five days of calling the finals.
Chance to cut the lead back to three.
Now to be honest Mitch Houppe should have been included in part one.
As his swing is pretty beautiful to watch.
And I'd say he probably has the smoothest style of all these players on this list.
Surprisingly though he has never won a singles title.
His only PBA title to date came at the 2023 Roth-Holman doubles event.
Number five.
Dave Davis.
The left-hander 6'2", 160 pounds.
Going for a double.
Leaving the six pin.
Dave gets an awful lot of power in the shot Chris from that long arm in the free swing.
You see how carefully he sets himself.
Powerful.
For our last entry on this list we're going right back in time to the early days of the PBA.
To find Dave Davis.
A left-hander who was incredibly smooth with a killer swing.
To me his style was ahead of his time.
And it brought him 18 tour titles and placed him in the hall of fame.
His title wins came against some incredibly tough competition.
And he regularly beat guys such as Earl Anthony,
Mark Roth and Don Johnson on his way to winning titles.
Any lefties who are looking to improve their physical game.
Simply should look to Dave Davis for some inspiration.
And there we have it.
Those were five more bowlers with incredibly smooth styles.
And as I mentioned earlier thank you all for your suggestions in part one.
And I probably will end up making a part three.
As I've still got some other bowlers that I think really should be included.
But do let me know if there's any other bowlers you think should make part three.
And I'd just like to thank you all for watching.
And if you have enjoyed what you've seen in today's video.
I would really appreciate it if you would click the subscribe button below.
That will be all from me for today.
And as always thank you bowling fans.
And see you all next time.
