In this video, I’ll share my personal experience at Doi Lom Elephant Rescue Sanctuary. This lesser known elephant sanctuary is the perfect place for those who want an intimate experience with elephants, but don't want to be thrown into a huge group of tourists.

I will show you how we prepared food for the elephants, the lush surroundings, peaceful interactions with elephants, and how this sanctuary supports ethical tourism in Thailand.

After meeting Uncle P, we booked later that night through texting them on Whatsapp. The next day, we got picked up from our hotel around 8:30 AM for our adventure. We ended up getting back that day at around 5 PM. The whole day cost us 1700 Thai Baht (~$50 USD).
