Kibler, the two-time Olympian for years.
He's swimming in the 4x200 freestyle relay.
He's the top seeded forward with a flag time best of 130.28.
Kibler earned the silver medal winning relay at the Paris Olympic Games.
He clearly needed 21.59.
And it's Bradley Dunham from lane one.
Winner of the 500 freestyle and 100 backstroke here in Greensboro.
Kibler maintaining about a half-mile lead on Brano Correa, the Brazilian national lane five.
But Bradley Dunham from lane one.
Looking to have some outside speed as they go into the final turn.
Dunham has been as fast as 132.77 in this event.
And Kibler not going to be challenged in the final 50.
Splitting at 23.4 and at 132.78.
Gets the win for Drew Kibler of the Newark Athletic Club.
Second, Bradley Dunham, 133.87.
Third, Brano Correa, 134.23.
Hi, Drew. You just told me that was so much fun.
You had good vibes. Describe what it was like being back in the pool racing again.
I think this is a big meat of perspective for me.
Learning about how much fun you can have and how special the sport is.
So it's just really fun to race free with no expectations and see what I can do.
We talked a little bit about racing with no pressure at all.
Not from wanting to make an Olympic team, not from coaches, not from anything.
What has that experiment been like?
It's been a really interesting experiment.
I think it's also given not only perspective to what swimming is about now,
but kind of my entire career too.
So I've been doing a lot of reflection on that lately as well.
Talk us through this race because it was certainly a tight race there towards the end as well.
Yeah, I think that was just getting down to how we all started swimming and just racing.
Looking at Bradley, looking at Brano and all these guys we were racing,
just fighting it out and having fun doing it.
I know you're kind of just taking it one day at a time.
You're dabbling with what's next for you with swimming.
But after the last couple of days, what are your thoughts?
I think that all I can really say is this is only giving me more confidence
in taking it one day at a time, being present,
and only worrying about what's coming right in the moment.
This was a great moment. Congratulations.
I appreciate it. Thank you.
