INCREDIBLE BOXING

Well I'm not gonna lie I was not expecting it. I said it before the fight
the only way the way that Dubois wins is to go in there like a bad man with no
respect and get caught up with the Wembley and the 95,000 people and the
sweet Caroline all of that doesn't mean anything go out there and take it to him
that's that was his best shot I said it winning and that's exactly what he did
no respect walked him down and ripped everything from him so full credit to
Dubois. I wasn't expecting it I didn't know he had that in him I haven't seen
that in him I didn't see that in him against Usyk I haven't seen that in him
before so he's something switched and yeah very very impressed.
Dubois has done fantastic. He was on the way home himself but he was phenomenal tonight
Daniel came in he didn't freeze Josh was he grows on the fire
and it's just it's one of them styles make Mike Daniel come out of the traps
and let his hands go immediately Josh was looking to box and set traps and he
got caught in the trap himself unfortunately tonight I'm sure he'll be
back but that's a hard one that's a hard pill to swallow, that's a hard one to come back from.
You seem a wee bit in shock, I'm a wee bit in shock just by that finish. Have you ever seen anything like that before?
It's a brutal finish. It's a brutal, brutal finish. I've got to give all credit to Daniel Dubois.
He's not taken nothing away from him. That's Anthony Joshua performing so I'm half broken, I'm gutted
but I'll never write him off, he'll be back from here. It's a sick night really.
Daniel's dangerous, don't write him off. He's young, he's hungry and he's strong he looks so physically
strong in there. You heard AJ earlier, I don't think AJ recovered. AJ showed great heart
he was very composed and he was hurt from like 30 seconds in the first round
but all credit goes to Daniel. He did a great job, that's all I can say. He did an
amazing job. Listen to Dan Charles and he showed good fighting heart. He just did
everything good tonight. AJ seemed to be overthinking and a bit hesitant today. I don't know why.
He just seemed to be thinking a lot instead of throwing punches. It wasn't his normal aggressive
stuff but these things happen sometimes. As fighters we don't know what's going on in people's
head mentally, what's going on in his life, in his personal life so we don't know.
He just seemed, he wasn't a fighter as he normally was. I picked him to win in six rounds because I
thought he'd have been a bit sparky but Daniel actually started the fight with a lot of spark.
I think Anthony must win.
Anthony should have won.
Yeah, should have won. It's boxing, I don't know.
Were you surprised it was such a firefight? Did you expect it to be like that for me, yeah?
Yeah, I think for me it's a surprise.
I don't know.
I think Anthony will win.
He was expecting that Anthony is going to win the fight.
Yeah.
So next up then, how is training going for you and your rematch with Tyson Fury?
Yeah, I go, I'm now in my training camp. Tomorrow I'm back in my training camp. I continue to prepare.
You will say you will beat Tyson Fury, I'm sure. Does that mean that maybe next year we might see you and Daniel Dubois have a rematch?
I don't think for Tyson Fury, for my fight, only my family, only my preparer.
I thought Dubois was the one that was hurt. But then, yes, I think that's when he was caught, AJ coming in.
I mean, that's the worst time to... I mean, it's the time where you can get caught.
When you think you hurt the other opponent, you're going to put the pressure on him.
And then Bobby's going to catch you with a cartwheel shot.
He caught him with a cartwheel shot, it must have been so precise, the timing.
So well done to both fighters, but listen, Dubois...
Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury still has to happen. No matter what, that still has to happen. That must happen.
What about that finish, Connor?
Great finish, great performance.
All the best.
Tyson Fury has to happen.
