Chinese Traditional Story: The Consequence of Not Listening to Good Advice

This story took place during the Warring States period. In the seventh year of the reign of King Xiaocheng of Zhao, a battle was fought at Chang Ping between the Qin State and the Zhao State. Although Grand General Lian Po's troops fought back and forth with the Qin State, there was no clear winner. Using the tactic of sowing discord, the Qin State sent a spy to the Zhao State saying the Qin State was not afraid of Lian Po instead it admired Zhao Kuo who was the son of Great General Zhao She.
