What's up? I'm Susi from A-Grill, and at my house, we are very attentive to abundant breakfasts.
And today we will make steak and eggs.
I have a nice rib, a couple of eggs and we are preparing a kimmichur made at home because I think it looks like a frame at all.
So, let's get started.
We will start preparing steak and eggs by preheating a 12-inch Giza pan over medium-high heat.
I do it on my grill, but you can do it on the stove.
While it heats up, we will prepare a really simple kimmichur sauce.
I have Italian parsley with flat leaves that I will finely chop and also some fresh oregano leaves.
Well, the herbs look good.
I'll put them in my bowl.
Finally, I will also chop a few cloves of fresh garlic.
Garlic in the bowl.
And from there, everything is ready.
I like to use olive oil and red wine vinegar.
And then season with kosher salt, a little black pepper and some red chili flakes if you like a little spiciness.
Good.
Mix well, put aside.
And honestly, this is the most demanding part of the whole dish.
The rest is very easy.
Chilies and kimmichur.
We will season this rib with a little meat seasoning.
Now, this is a slightly thinner rib than the one I would normally cook.
However, this is breakfast and I don't want to spend 45 minutes doing a reverse browning and all the rest.
Sometimes you just want the steak and you want it quickly.
So, these slightly thinner cuts are fantastic with a little meat seasoning on the grill in a cast iron pan.
They cook in about 7 to 9 minutes.
They are fabulous.
We will also season my eggs with a little meat seasoning.
Season the top with a little of our homemade kimmichur.
I like it on my steak and on my eggs.
Just like that.
A pan.
10 minutes.
It's a really substantial breakfast.
Substantial and delicious.
Actually, I'll put this egg on top of this steak.
And we'll let that yolk do what it has to do while we cut this rib.
I mean, it's just that stuff there.
Steak and eggs are a classic hot plate for a reason.
But add that kimmichur and bring it to a completely different level.
Cook it on a cast iron pan on your grill and get some of that smoked carbon flavor.
Another fantastic level.
So, sometimes you can take the simplicity, you can take the base, you can take the calm and you can make it absolutely delicious and incredibly appetizing.
This is one of my abundant breakfasts and I hope you like it as much as I do.
See you next time.
