What's up, basketball fans?
Christmas may be all about family, food, and festivities,
but for us NBA lovers, it's the day for unforgettable hoops action.
And this year, LeBron James and Steph Curry gave us yet another Christmas classic that'll go down in history.
LeBron James, at 39 years old and just days away from hitting the big four, zero,
showed us why he's still the king.
He led the Los Angeles Lakers to a nail-biting 115-113 victory over the Golden State Warriors.
LeBron dropped 31 points, dished out 10 assists, and only turned the ball over once.
That's just legendary consistency, folks.
Oh, and by the way, this win made LeBron the NBA's all-time leader in Christmas Day victories.
11 wins in 19 Christmas games.
And then there's Steph Curry, showing us why he's the chef in the kitchen of clutch moments.
Curry poured in a game-high 38 points,
including an ice-cold 31-footer to tie the game with just 7.6 seconds left on the clock.
Talk about drama.
Now, it wasn't all smooth sailing for the Lakers.
Early in the game, Anthony Davis went down with a sprained ankle after a freak play.
The big man had to sit out the rest of the game, but don't worry.
AD told reporters he plans to suit up this Saturday against the Kings.
Lakers fans, you can breathe easy.
And it wasn't just about the Lakers and Warriors.
We saw Mikal Bridges drop 41 to lift the Knicks over the Spurs,
who were led by the incredible Victor Wembanyama with a monster 42 points and 18 boards.
Anthony Edwards showed up big,
leading the Wolves past a Mavericks team that almost staged a miraculous comeback.
And let's not forget Philly upsetting Boston behind a combined 60 points from Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid.
Christmas hoops never disappoint.
But here's the cherry on top.
When LeBron was asked what makes the NBA special during the holidays,
his response was chef's kiss.
I love the NFL, but Christmas is our day. Mic drop.
And Steph agreed, calling it a privilege to play on such a grand stage year after year.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate these two legends?
Almost a decade after their first NBA Finals showdown,
they're still putting on a show for us.
Absolute goat behavior.
