Mama Cocha – The Inca Goddess of All Waters – Inca Mythology

Mama Qucha or Mama Cocha, is the Inca goddess of seas and waters. Protector of fishermen and sailors, she provides fish and ensures calm waters. As a maternal goddess, she nurtures life and influences the fertility of lands near the waters. Wife of Viracocha and mother of Inti and Mama Quilla, her worship was essential for coastal communities dependent on marine resources.
