Mother helps grieving parents heal through ‘Mending Hearts Ministry’

it's okay not to be okay in 2013 I was expecting our first child and we were very excited close your eyes you know every detail of that day um and Midway into the pregnancy we were told that our daughter would not survive I me me being a woman of faith I had decided that I wanted to fight for her and she survived for about another 6 weeks and even though she's not here she's changing the world going through the grief process was hard there wasn't really um much support at the time and I thank God that I found this church the profecting church and as I worked through my grief and I started to heal I wanted to help other women all these women have lost their children in different ways and that's how Mending Hearts you know was birthed we lost our 23-year-old son so what we do is we provide a free online support group this was 51 years ago when I lost my daughter actually we've had um mothers come in from England from Hawaii Texas all over two cribs two of everything now we just have one we also provide a grief course for mothers who feel stuck my friends all felt that I wasn't dealing with my son's death and we also do a Beauty for Ashes conference every year to connect to meet one another and to just leave empowered and encouraged so I when I say Mending Hearts save my life I'm proud of you that's why I called the ministry Mending Hearts because God mened my broken heart we thank you for this time to be able to come together and share with each other if I can just help one mother see that there is hope that is what I I believe I'm called to do amen amen
