Welcome to sunny Brazil in South America. Hot sandy beaches with mountains towering over. This is called Sugarloaf Mountain. Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world. It takes about 12 hours to fly there from our country, Britain. Have you ever wanted to go on an adventure in a jungle? You can visit the biggest jungle in the world in Brazil. It is called the Amazon Rainforest. It has a huge river running through it. It's so big that sometimes you can't even see the other side. It's like the sea. It even has some pink river dolphins swimming in it. The Amazon jungle has 40,000 different types of plants. It has more than a thousand animals living in it, so I won't try and name them all. In Brazil, the people eat lots of fresh fruit, breads, rice, beans and stew. Every year they have a big carnival celebration. People come from all over the world to party in the street, dance, sing and watch big parades. Sounds fun. Brazilian people speak a language called Portuguese. Let's learn some.
