Hi everyone. Today I want to talk about a newer feature in Ganjing World called Library Browsing.
Now that name doesn't exactly explain what it is, so I'm just going to make a quick video
to help you understand a little bit better what this new feature is.
As you can see here, they've recently put out an article on Ganjing World Stories,
just in late November, explaining, or announcing, I should say, Library Browsing as a new feature,
and how it might be useful to you. The article itself is very brief, but they do have a few
good pictures that sort of present what it looks like. This here is the dialog, the menu where you
control the topics that you want to follow or whatever, and then all the available topics
listed below that. And I'll show you that in a moment. And then once you dig into any topic,
this is sort of how it's presented on the screen. I'll show you that again in a moment.
And then they tell you how it might be beneficial to you, and things of that nature. I'm not going
to focus on this article, I just wanted to show it. I will link it in the video,
but let's get into it. So here is the Ganjing World homepage, and as you can see,
these topics are up here, these categories, I should say. And how you control them, where it
says Reorder, is where you would focus on whatever topic that you're interested in.
And let's just say, for example, I want to add a new topic, I would hit Reorder.
And let's say I want to focus on Tutorials. I'm going to add Tutorials, and now I'm following
Exclusive and Tutorial, and of course Home. And I'm going to save that. And from now on,
those topics are going to be presented to me in priority. And if I want to dive into any
of those topics, I can. So let's say, for example, I want to focus on Tutorials,
like I just selected. I'm going to select that, and it's going to be organized in a fairly neat
organizational structure, where videos with that keyword placed in it, which I'll show you later,
are going to be presented here. And some creators are also going to be presented here. Some of this
is organized by Ganjing World, some of this is organized by what you set, what the creator sets
in their content. But as you can see, it's, you know, any topic that you want to follow,
this is going to help you search more efficiently and just narrow down the results that you're
looking for, even if you're not sure what specific video you're looking for. Like,
let's say you're interested in, let's go back to the other topics. Let's just say you're interested
in News, and you pin that topic. Well, of course, News is going to show up more prevalently on your
feed. And as you can see, not all of them are organized in that neat structure by account yet,
but eventually as creators catch on to this new feature, they will start to be organized into
that structure. And, you know, for example, we're in Shen Yun season, a lot of videos here are going
to be, you know, if you specifically follow Shen Yun, for example, they'll show up there.
Nature, of course, is a very big topic, so they've already been organized by creators at the top,
and then, of course, by videos at the bottom. So as creators catch on, creators are the ones who
primarily control this, but Ganjing World does have some control over this, but eventually this
will start to populate as people catch on. And it's a fairly easy way to navigate through Ganjing
World. If you're not sure what you you're looking for, you just want to sort of focus your results
rather than, you know, rather than search and search and search through various ways of going
through this. And if you're a creator, how this is done, how this is added, is let's say you want
to create a article or a video. I'll just do article and then hit new. Where this is focused
is down here in the keyword sections where you're going to add whatever relevant topic you want to
be a part of. So let's just say I'm making a video on a tutorial, or I should say an article
because I'm doing an article here. I would put tutorial, and then I'm going to hit enter. As you
can see, right below this window, it says hit enter to apply it. So I've applied it. Then,
of course, when I save my article and publish it, this keyword will be applied to it,
and this smart search will find it down here in this in this section,
because this is the topics that you're looking for. So as you can see, it's also sort of sub
categorized, you know, creator guides, user guides, feature channels, and things of that nature.
But down here, you have all. So anything that has that keyword tutorial is going to be presented
down here. So for example, one of my videos is a tutorial, and of course, it's presented here
in the all section under the tutorial library, we'll call it. And of course, you'll see many
others in there under the same category. I have another tutorial here because that's sort of one
of my things. And this is just a great way to not be overwhelmed. Like, for example, let's say you're
on another video site, not Ganjing World, and you're not sure what you want to look for. And
you sort of allow the AI to learn what you like. And since Ganjing World is not heavily focused on
tracking your information, they want the user to control that rather than have the user submit to
an AI to sort of catch all their data and learn their behavior. It's a lot safer, it's a lot more
control for the user. And it makes people feel a lot better if they don't like that sort of thing.
So again, these topics are now in your control. If you want to focus on a topic, you add it
with the reorder function. If you want to remove a topic, let's say you're sick of following that one,
you just get rid of it and you save it. And that's really the basics of it. It's not a very
complicated feature, it's just one that people may not understand it has that flexibility to it,
the user has the control to narrow down your results rather than allowing the AI to learn
it for you. Because there are so many people who are not comfortable with AI or user behavior
tracking. And one of Ganjing World's focuses is user privacy. And so they really don't want to
do a lot of tracking when a user comes here. And they have many articles and press releases
actually talking about that. So that's pretty much all I wanted to say about this feature.
It's a very easy to use feature. And of course, if you have any questions,
just go ahead and comment below the video.
