Well, it's been a while since I've been to the woods to photograph red squirrels, so today, I jumped in the car and headed north to a favourite location to get down and close to photograph some beautiful red squirrels in the woodland.
So it looks like the weather isn't going to be in my favour. The forecast was for bright sunny spells, but we have thick clouds, so it's going to be a dull day in the woods. This is going to mean cranking up the ISO, but that should be a problem. As long as I can stay below 10,000 ISO, I should be good.
When I arrived at the location it was absolutely dead quiet nobody around I had the woods entirely to myself so I settled down sat on the log wrapped up warm got my camera out and just sat there as the squirrels run around and came up close to me running across the logs jumping from one tree to another it was a beautiful experience, just be sat there in the woods with the red squirrels running around by your feet Jays flying through the trees along with Robins blue tits, great tit's dunnocks, etc what a fabulous day so why not sit back for the next 10 to 15 minutes and enjoy some red squirrels running around an English woodland
