If your makeup is still turning out like this in 2023,
we need to have a chat.
I swear my makeup was doing this for years
and I could not figure out why.
I was like, what is going on?
Even hours later, after having a flawless makeup base
when I would leave the house,
it would still look like this hours later.
I could not figure out why.
I'm gonna give you my life hack
for no more separation anxiety and flawless skin every time.
Here she is.
This is my makeup tower
where all of my makeup that I use every single day.
In order to get flawless makeup,
you wanna be using all water-based products
or all silicone-based products.
So here's an example of a routine
that I like to use for all water-based products.
Here's an example of a silicone-based routine that I love.
All of these products, I swear by,
they're all individually so incredible.
Basically, makeup is categorized
into two different formulations.
So either they're silicone-based or water-based.
So lucky for us, the makeup industry
makes it pretty easy for us to tell
whether or not something's silicone-based or water-based.
So in the first five ingredients,
from the top to the bottom,
it's the most concentrated
versus the least concentrated ingredients.
So in the top five ingredients, as you can see up here,
this is an example of a silicone-based product
because it has hexane or cone at the end.
So anything that's dimethicone or cone
in the first five ingredients,
that means that it is silicone-based,
even if it has water up in there.
Otherwise, it's pretty much a given
that it's a water-based product
if it doesn't have any of these ingredients.
Sometimes there are silicones lower in the formulation,
but that does not mean it's silicone-based.
The reason behind why your makeup
is probably turning out like this
is because you're using products like a water-based primer
and then putting a silicone-based foundation
or blush or cream or something on top of it
that's causing separation later in the day.
Get ready using all water-based products.
Little setting spray just to prep my skin.
And I'm gonna go in with the Say Beauty Worm Glow.
You can already see how brightening this stuff is.
The Rose Ink Skin Enhancer.
This stuff is incredible.
The goal is to have your makeup look
as undetectable as possible.
And I'm gonna go in with a really hydrating skin tint,

Work it in with a slightly damp beauty blender.
Concealer is from Rose Ink as well.
Let this sit for about a minute.
Blend this in.
Just going to bring it down slightly under the nose.

Just gonna use this one from Rare Beauty.
Blends so beautifully every time.

when I feel like my skin is not perfect.

It gives your lips like that extra glow,
which I am obsessed with.
I'm going to do a silicone-based routine.
So I'm gonna go in with my vanish primer from Hourglass,
which is a silicone-based primer.
I love this primer so much.
It honestly blurs all of your imperfections,
pores, texture.
Next up, I'm going in with the Ambient Soft Glow Foundation
from Hourglass, which is the perfect duo with the primer.
Actually mix my foundation.
I buy my darkest shade and my lightest shade,
and I mix them throughout the year
to adjust to my tanness throughout the year, or tan.
Applying this right on top,
and you can already see how flawless this looks.
I like to go in with a beauty blender after I use a brush
just to get rid of any strokes.
Concealing with the NARS Creamy Concealer.
Going in with this Nudestix Bronzer.
Look at that blend.
And then adding some blush in Sunkissed
on the Cherry Blossom Babe.
So beautiful.
