Earth Abides Season 1 Trailer

An outbreak has occurred. It is highly contagious. The emergency alert system. This is not a test. No, no! Dad? Hello! Everyone's dead, hon. There's no one left. Did you sleep through the midnight, kid? Whoever might be left is out of time. What do you want? I haven't seen anyone in the longest time. Everyone disappeared, but me. Now you. If we stick together, there's enough to keep us alive for years. I was sure I was gonna die alone. How can we protect the child? I need you to believe in us. Maybe civilization could rise again. If you build it, they will come. We can't just leave our doors wide open. You can't close this off to other people. There are two kinds of people. The weak and the strong. We need to be prepared. Doesn't take much to kill from far away. The challenge is to do it up close. Damn-ish. Brought a family to a knife fight. They have been the underdog, fit only to endure punishment. But sufficiently provoked, there is hardly a creature on Earth that won't turn and attempt to fight, regardless of the odds. That's how we'll win in the end.
