Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (often simply referred to as Felix Mendelssohn; * 3 February 1809 in Hamburg; † 4 November 1847 in Leipzig) was a German composer, pianist and organist. He is one of the most important musicians of the Romantic period and, as a conductor, set standards that still characterise conducting today.

Mendelssohn Bartholdy also championed the performance of the works of Handel and Johann Sebastian Bach. He made a significant contribution to their rediscovery and to the development of an understanding of the 'classical' era of German music. He is considered one of the founders of historical music preservation and founded the first conservatory in Germany.

The video was filmed by Simone Schlegel in Switzerland. The video was edited by Wenjing Ma.
