The Sagebrush Sea
The Nature Conservancy is leading efforts across seven western states—Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah and Colorado—to conserve the last remaining large and intact sagebrush landscapes of the Intermountain West. In partnership with private landowners, federal and state agencies, and local communities, we are tackling threats like invasive species, wildfires, and habitat loss. Through innovative and collaborative restoration strategies, we aim to protect the sagebrush ecosystem, vital for wildlife, rural communities, and climate resilience. Join us in preserving this iconic and essential biome for future generations. Learn more at http://nature.org/sagebrushsea.
