Curtis Luck a chance to make a three birdie straight with this putt on three. It's tracking,
it's in. So another Australian contender enters the final day fight. Gee that's a difficult putt
coming back up the hill firstly and then running down towards the cup. He made it look easy,
he has tapped all week long and he brought himself at 16 under.
It's 23 on six from the back don't go over the back he's hoisted this high
a little bit left of the pin that's the safe play today that's a long way left.
There's certainly different ways to play this second hole here at Kingston.
He's really pretty handy with these field shots.
He certainly has he's actually brought that in nice and low needs to spin
needs to go just slightly control just went with the three-quarter rigs right now he's only 107
and this man has not shied away from one pin this week and no it has again what another good shot.
And that's the other way you can do it throw it way up in the air pass the flag and spin it back.
99 metres here he's just seen rigs just there take it straight at it
and this one just hit it slightly left but a good looking shot.
All three men with a look at birdie here at three a very select company as winners of the PGA
Australian Open double. Bogie on three he's trying to bounce back straight away and
there's an outstanding iron shot from Elvis laid a bit further back than most people.
There's only about three feet left of this pin and a man halfway to the hole
he's got to keep it under the gum tree he's done that nicely oh my goodness what a shot.
That's a bit of a mic drop from back there isn't it?
Certainly is yeah now Johnson long range attempt for par oh dear me
making a bit of a mess of this one right now and then on this wonderful dogleg right par four
second shot in working it in towards that flag beautiful control.
How's he making birdie from over there this is maybe just one of those days for Kirito
Avivana that's the angle at least must have had a decent enough lie but he chases it up
guess what darkening skies boy they have really closed in in the last half an hour or so here at
Stubbs tries to flight one here and to very good effect it's a gorgeous wedge
78 for Lucas as he's hitting towards the dark clouds down in the south but they're
going to miss this but that shot has not missed one bit. Once upon a time he's got no room to
move here right at the front he's going to bring oh this one's coming in nice and low
needs to have a little bit of action he's got some action on his wing and we deserve it from
off the back of the par five first awkward one over the the knoll at the back of the green
it's so beautifully played this coming in low needs to get up a little suck it out back here
at the par four six and as they say in the classics it is Harrison Crowe second at seven
pin today's over on their back left easily access near the bunker that's how you do it
you have at 133 this wind now howling from the left pin on 25 from the left
it seems like it's on a decent line 56 165 off the first tree
done exceptionally well though third
and now seven a bit hard at the barn rat back pin today don't want to be long
he's judged that to perfection on the pace and that was in no man's land second here at 10
plenty of help here not quite straight down breeze but almost he's on the up slope which will help
generate spin what a shot by curtis luck only one back and he has that from just on three feet for
birdie the nightfall oh absolutely this is forever coming back into it this is real melbourne weather
right now and that one is a good looking shot keeping it under the hole it's pinned so far
back today they've been over in the right hand side but today it's it's in the left hand side
27 on four from the left something like a six on flat ball and that has come out extremely low
just left of it well the shot from behind was just audacious long bunker shot difficult one
this back in the breeze high hasn't quite caught that and they did sort of half thin that to get
it all the way back to the pins and 35 meters from there curtis luck open with three birdies
on the bounce to start this final round after a bogey on five this was his approach into six
got that drop shot back 150 the sun will be out in a moment that needs to go a bit which it is
that's a good shot from there good play from lucas herbert he has got nothing in here today
this is a green light for him with his wedge he is going straight at it
oh my goodness he's nearly slammed dunk the thing
down the 12th second shot at par five here back left today right of it is fine why not just take
it off yeah that shows some confidence on a little bit of an upslope just gonna land this
hasn't come out very strong at all here we go to curtis luck is to join the lead
go go wow curtis luck has emerged from the pack two unders today 13 under for the title
nicely done there and down the right side that's certainly the place to come in from
with this back left hand pin today jasper stubbs really needs to get up and down given
the congested nature of this leaderboard place beautiful fifth toughest hole on the golf course
today can crow get one he can it gets him to 14 under three back of luck with three to play
it's pretty slow he's giving this a real good go it goes right at the death right into the hole
riggs johnston assumes pole position once again the harry higgs has played both the bga and the
open championship jordy's time in australia came out a bit early to do some practice
on the sand belt and he finishes with a flourish
mark leishman from the middle of the fairway on 17. he'll be trying to throw this all the way
back to the pin the lower ball flight he's bouncing it back there what a beautiful long
five at 17 and a five at 18 clubhouse leader 15 under par learned a lot of
amazing lessons last fortnight smiley now
for one of the men who thought he might have been a challenger
the only birdie comes at 18 the 24 year old is the isbs hander australian open champion
riggs what an incredible week when you turned up to
kingston heath did you think that a win w was on the cards to be honest probably not i mean i turned
up pretty tired already from all the trouble and q school and everything didn't get a practice
round here with uh with the weather so um i didn't really have any expectations which
probably helped me in the end it wasn't given to you went through three rounds of the dp world tour
to get a card here but now you've got an official card on that tour how good does that feel
it feels great i mean just knowing that you know more playing opportunities and getting
into bigger events it hasn't quite sunk in yet but it's it's an amazing feeling
hey so back in montana will they all be up tonight watching this and the sun devils all your
your coaches and you know all the team will they be up watching this i think so yeah um i got i've
got a lot of messages from friends back home saying like the whole town is watching and it's
just really cool to have that kind of support and just kind of the thing that you don't see much
other than from small towns like i'm from it's pretty cool hey what do you want to say the coach
yeah it's it was cool to you know arizona state prepared me for this kind of moment and just the
team around me the coaches have helped um the head coach was one of the reasons i decided to play q
school for this tour but um everyone around me my family and friends girlfriend my girlfriend's dad
caddied for me this week just helping out um they've been all so supportive and just so lucky
hey what's it mean to win the isps hand or australian open it's it's great um i've heard
the australians love this place and uh they turned out and it was amazing the crowds were
big and they were they were great they were also supportive um so it was a lot of fun
